20.01.2022 Being a micro-business owner has certainly been interesting so far in 2020. We have to be adaptable and willing to change to our environment while keeping the needs of our customers front and centre, the last few months have certainly been a perfect example that you can't afford to stand still and you can never know enough! I have been working with additional clients by upskilling my offerings working with authors and coaches with their online course promotion through paid Fa...cebook Ad Campaigns. I know my eldest daughters dance school were able to continue to provide weekly classes by transitioning to an online environment. We have seen small family-owned businesses expand their offerings with home delivery services. Other local companies that previously had no online presence have invested in web development and creating brand awareness through social media. It is truly amazing the innovation that has been going on, and it is inspiring! This is a great article on why times of crisis breed invention

15.01.2022 Meet Missy, number one of three team sidekicks that LOVE me working from home as I can be on call for food whenever the need arises. Missy is 17 years young, so every day is a blessing with her around. Today we are busily batching social media posts for clients. I usually aim to schedule posts for two weeks in advance. Why? I find that it allows you to execute your social media strategy more clearly and ensures content is always up to date. If you are writing multiple cap...tions in one sitting, it is a lot easier to maintain your brand voice across all your posts rather than scrambling to post at random times. For the majority of my clients, their ideal target market is hanging out on Instagram and Facebookbetween 6 pm - 9 pm, so I schedule posts within these time frames, giving their brand and messaging the best chance to be seen by those that matter. 14.01.2022 Have you ever heard of the saying 'Opportunities are where the complaints are?' It is so important to see the actual value of customer feedback - more so if it is negative. While it is not a nice feeling to know things are not quite right with the service or product that you are offering, what we take from this feedback is how we keep growing. It would be pretty dull to stand still for the rest of your life, right?... A previous boss that I was so lucky to work with during my many years in corporate once said that no one is ever 100% perfect, so we must consistently review the way we are doing things and look for ways to improve. This has really stuck with me and is one of the reasons why I never want to stop learning and evolving in life, there is ALWAYS opportunities to improve!

All money raised go towards researching the early detection, prevention and treatment of common mental health disorders. Here is a frightening fact from the Black Dog Institute website:... Suicide is the leading cause of death among Australians aged 15-44, and 60% of Australians reporting symptoms of mental illness don’t seek help. Mental Health doesn't discriminate and in 2020 and the years that follow this pandemic, many of us will be affected, and for some, it could be the first time in your life. It is good to know that organisations such as the Black Dog Institute are working in the background, and awareness is key.
