25.01.2022 Happy Birthday Britney!! @ Manly, Queensland
24.01.2022 For a long time Pepper has always napped downstairs and with Britney. It’s only been in the last two days she has decided to take her naps in our bed. Although it still feels like there’s an empty hole in our hearts, it’s comforting to see Pepper dealing with the loss of Britney extremely well.

22.01.2022 Little Update on Pep: I have been getting so many kind and thoughtful messages over the past week. It has really been touching and I have forgotten as much as I personally follow a lot of other animal personalities big and small and get attached to them.. I have been reminded that Britney has been part of so many more families and peoples lives around the world. And I think that’s pretty amazing for Britney! . Pepper and @bunjithedachshund for the first two days after Brit ...had passed we’re slightly off and weary. But it has been so lovely to see the change in Pepper over the last few days. . We have made a massive effort not to leave Pepper at home alone or if we do, Bunji is at home with her or it’s a short time. . I think for a long time Pepper was there for Brit and would sleep and comfort her. Now as soon as Bunji is here Pep is up and seeing what he is into. It’s like she has more energy and a real interest in everything around her again. Getting some chickens too has given her a regular morning stalk routine . 17.01.2022 You would never know that 30mins ago I was holding Britney’s lifeless body. I can not express enough the importance to know Canine First Aid. Britney has been struggling with eating lately and gulping her food. Tonight she choked on a small piece of chicken breast and it was only that @olaf_mccarron_ has seen me before do the Heimlich maneuver on a canine, that he knew what to do and acted quickly as he ran Britney to me. So thankful that she is still with us.. if you haven’t noticed it before you will now. Britney is a fighter!

10.01.2022 Little Mis Brit... she may be getting old and all the issues that come with getting old, but she still has that sparkle for life in her eyes and happiest character. Mum is enjoying capturing our lives again more regularly. So keep an eye out for more adventures.

08.01.2022 A very different Britney this afternoon. She was laying lifeless on the ground last night, not breathing we thought she had passed but she had the will to gasp for air and show us she wanted to fight. I have never experienced something so scary and that split second thought to think she was gone broke me. I am cherishing every single moment with her and I want to try and share that with you all as much as I can for as long as Britney will let me.
