23.01.2022 Wow, a clever kid! Hopefully well see this come to Australia. Having said that, there already many products on the market that are sugar free but you have to watch out for the acid content of some. Xylitol is a great natural sweetener that also inhibits the bacteria that causes tooth decay. It is only just starting to be more freely available in food stuffs in Australia.

20.01.2022 Did you make any New Year resolutions? To join a gym and actually go? Eat more healthily? Maybe have a few less drinks each week? (Maybe...) Dont forget your oral health - not only will a healthy mouth make you look and feel better, there are SO many proven studies that show that people who have poor oral health (such as gum disease or tooth loss) have higher rates of cardiovascular problems such as heart attack or stroke than people with good oral health. ... So if you (and the Tooth Fairy) know that you didnt make it to the dentist in 2019 - start 2020 off right. Give us a call on 93192606 or go to our web site and make an appointment soon

12.01.2022 Fluoridation has been controversial for some. What we have to remember is that without it we would have a much higher rate of decayed and missing teeth, and all the health issues associated with that. To eat healthy foods we need teeth! To replace teeth we have no choice but use foreign materials that some people also have concerns about. Like Ive said to many patients, we have to weigh up perceived risk verses benefits, as in most things in life!

If youre seeking a natural and affordable way to rinse your mouth, consider a common ingredient thats likely sitting in your refrigerator or on your pantry shelf. 01.01.2022 As Perth (Nat means Freo!) life takes another leap back to "normal" this weekend, we want to encourage our community to continue to practice physical distancing and good personal hygiene (Nat means dont lick your mates icecream!). Transmission of the virus is STILL possible, so please lets keep each other safe and keep showing the world how its done. Get out of the house, enjoy the beautiful weather, go for a walk and support your local business (Nat means coffee and cake!) (edit: Nat has been reminded this is a DENTAL practice, so dont forget to floss after your cake!! )
