25.01.2022 Makes me very proud to share this with you all! @liammhardingg started with me 7 months ago, but had really been giving it all the last 4-5 months. This transformation isn’t just about how much size he has put on but also transformation in himself. Liam is now my go to guy when I wanna show clients at the gym how to do things but the bump won’t allow me, he has grown so much with his abilities in the gym, actually blows me away how quick he has picked up on it all. Here i...s a review he wrote to me and I wanted to share- So before joining the gym, I lacked physical activity and had never really stepped into a gym before. I lacked body confidence and constantly put myself down for how I looked and was scared to take my shirt off around people. Starting at the gym was scary at first but after you showed me everything and gave me the knowledge and guidance I needed, I started to understand things a lot better and started feeling more comfortable using the equipment and working out around other people, the gym has not only helped me physically but has also helped me mentally, I get excited going to the gym each day and trying different things and meeting new people and having a program that best suits what I’m trying to gain. Overall I’m feeling a lot more confident than I did before I started at the gym and it’s all because of you Confidence in people is something I strive for people to gain, anyone who has been to the gym can see how much confidence Liam has grown in the short few months.! 24.01.2022 What’s the difference between Armour body and a commercial gym, so much! Your not just a number, every member speaks to me weekly, I check in, program for each individual for their goals, your goals turn into my goals, and I do all I can do to help reach your goals. Its a space for everyone, no stereotypes like your normal commercial gym. There is so much my clients love about this space, I have never been more proud of what I have built. 23.01.2022 What gets measured gets improved! So many of us live a sedentary lifestyle, working behind a desk all day getting up to get food to then sit and eat it. Reasoning why obesity is so bad now is not just because of easy access to food but also because most people live such a sedentary life with the jobs these days. ... Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) is the energy expended for everything we do that is not sleeping, eating or sports-like exercise. It ranges from the energy expended walking to work, performing yard work, undertaking tasks like shopping, fidgeting. We burn more of our Daily calories burnt using NEAT then we do EAT ( exercise activity thermogenesis) but people purely only focus on getting to the gym. Rather than the rest of their day! So I challenge you, go out and buy an activity tracker, doesn’t have to be fancy just a $50 one will do the job. And track how much movement you get in your day! You do this through the step tracker. Recommend amount of steps for an individual is 10,000 steps a day. Making Daily habits to get your body moving every day will speed up weight loss but also great for overall health. Simple things like- walk your dog every day, or go for a walk around the block in lunch break, take the stairs instead of the lift, park further away from the shops, walk around when your on a meeting call with head phones in, clean the house. Simple task that you can add to your day can make an overall difference. Get an activity tracker and get an idea of where your at, if you have no idea how much your moving and you live a sedentary life (office worker) then I suggest you make this change, not just for weight loss but your overall health. Remember movements is just as important to what we put in our mouths.



21.01.2022 Common question I get asked- Whats the difference between your gym and others? - Armour body is connected with online coaching. Unlike other gyms you walk in and it’s just the space, you either have to find a coach or make your own plan up. Armour body is a space connected to a training plan, it’s all in one. I’m a personal trainer, a nutritional coach, who runs her own gym and connects it all in one. A flat rate, that has coaching, nutritional plans, workouts plans, and a... gym all in one. Not many gyms out there offer this, each month your plan is updated, I check in with you weekly to keep you accountable, I meet you at my space for form corrections. Feeling unmotivated and discouraged well ill meet you and do strategies to help you through this. Each client has the chance to meet with me and go over each exercise, so there is no guessing when you walk into my gym. Unlike other gyms you get a membership and off you go on your own, which you then feel discouraged and end up cancelling. 21.01.2022 To accomplish goals we need to put in daily action towards these goals. Working on something daily will get you closer to your overall goal. Performance goal- more you perform something the better at it you will be... Weight loss goal- eating correct amount of food every day will get you to your overall goal Saving goal- putting money away weekly, leaving your card at home every day so you don’t buy anything, will give you your overall goal of saving money. Running a distance- running every day will allow you to run a certain distance. Get the idea? So what is your long term goal? What can you do Daily to achieve this long term goal! If you want to achieve a goal, you need to make daily habits to get to that goal, we can’t expect goals to happen without hard work and dedication. Obstacles will come in your way, there is never a clear run at things, be prepared to have set backs, but if you do something every day to get you closer to your goal it will all pay off!

21.01.2022 Thought I’d share couple of my Guys progress from last few months! @thee_hydra started in November with me, and has grinded hard every since, his ability to track macros is amazing! Nails it every day, he has a goal to get to 10 bf so will continue this for prob 1-2 more months, reverse him up and then put him into a slight surplus to gain some good size over winter! We have @joshkopp_ next, his been on with me for a few months a well, anyone knows josh his work life is ...crazy at times so he sometimes misses a week here and there but hasn’t given up at all, perseverance has paid off, he wanted to gain shape in his chest and lose his stomach which we have successfully done. I know he will keep smashing it from here and stay tuned to what we achieve! I love sharing progress photos with you all, seeing people achieve what they want is such a motivator!! I have a few more progress photos to finish the year off! Proud of you boys! Watch out 2021 we going to achieve big things!

21.01.2022 Last transformation for 2020 and one of my favourite ones! Bree came to me couple months ago and wanted personal training, she had zero confidence in the gym, so we started with a couple pt sessions a week, where she then moved onto coming in on her own. I remember saying to her by the end of the year you will not need me at all, she laughed and was like we will see. At the start of December I asked her is she was ready to go on her own, and she answered yes! Such a proud m...oment as a coach to see someone not only lose 10 kg but also be confident to train on her own! Here is what Bree had to say- I joined Armour Body in late September 2020. I contacted Dani in regards to personal training as I had no idea what to do when it came to strength training and explained to her that I was very self conscious within a gym environment. I was looking for a gym not too over crowded and one I could access at any time that suited. I invested in personal training sessions with Dani to build up my confidence and over the next 3 months she went above and beyond to educate me on training and making sure I had the correct form. I can happily say I have lost 10kg since late September and I have gained the confidence to start training on my own. Armour body is such a happy and welcoming environment and I would highly recommend Dani to anyone wanting to start their weight loss and training journey. Looking forward to see what can be achieved in the next 12 months! Proud of you girlfriend!

21.01.2022 - wholesome foods you should be eating every day, not just for weight loss but for health as well. People over complicate cooking, when I chat to people about what they eat, it’s mainly packet stuff or pastas, over complicated things so then they give up and go for takeaway. You can’t go wrong with a good old fashion meat and veg/ salad eater. Then maybe 1-2 x a week branch out and have something good for the soul. These days people are so caught up on trying to make thing...s fancy, rather then keeping it simple. Lunch and dinner should be a good source of protein. Then add some salad or veggies to it. Play around with spices and sauces for sure, but don’t get caught up in trying to be master chefs. Keeping a simple diet is an effective diet. If your not having salad/ veggies every day, your missing out on so much nutrition in your diet. Could be the reason your feeling tied and fatigued. Try keeping your lunch and dinner simple, having little treats as snacks. Hitting a good protein goal and you will be surprised how much better you feel. Don’t underestimate the power of food and how it effects how you feel, eat like crap feel like crap. *Aim for protein with lunch and dinner, even a snack like tuna or protein shake. * Have veggies or salad 2 x a day * Don’t be afraid of fruit, there is amazing micronutrients in fruit and is just a good as veggies. 1-2 pieces a day. * have a treat a day, ice cream like a paddle pop, 4 squares of chocolate, cup cake, don’t restrict yourself from having something nice. * On a Sunday, go buy a few different sources of protein you can cook for your week. Then add your veggies or salad to it. Keep it simple and clean with wholesome foods, your body and yourself will thank you for it.

18.01.2022 Elles storey- Elle came to me the start of the year with a goal to lose weight, she’s a mum of 2 and wanted to feel good in her skin again. She had a pt in the past, but wasn’t seeing any progress. Elle was on super low calories when she came to me, eating 1200-1400 a day, and not seeing any weight loss. I knew straight away we needed to reverse her up, her body had adapted to super low calories, from not having frequent diet breaks. I knew telling a new client who has goal...s to lose weight that I actually didn’t want to diet her down was going to be hard to explain. When women want to lose weight last thing they wanna hear is actually no your body isn’t ready I want you to eat more. So what I did was spoke to Elle about what was going on with her body, said we would try for another couple months and see if there was any change. I think she lost like half a kg, eating absolutely nothing and lost nothing. So she seen the light. We spent the next 6 months reversing her up, I got her calories over 2500, she didn’t gain a single kg, once we got to her maintenance I was in no hurry to diet her down again. I think women should get comfortable eating a lot of calories and not feel the rush to diet down. Which we did we spent few more months at maintenance, which allowed us to build muscle, which created shape for her body. Wasn’t until last 10 weeks we did a small cut, then I was utilising a tool that didn’t allow her metabolism to stuff up again. I used an 11 and 3 diet. 11 days dieting 3 days diet break. So in this time Elle also had a lot of back issues, after having children she didn’t do the work to get her core back, which caused her back to flare up, this was another reason I didn’t want her dieting. If you have a horrible injury your body will not recover if your not fueling it properly, elles back is basically healed, core is so much stronger. So this entire year, she spent time building her calories right up and healing her back. She didn’t lose a shit tone of weight like she probably wanted to, but man how good does she look considering she was eating over 2000 cal a day. She’s so much stronger now then before, from doing stupid amounts of cardio to now doing hardly any! If your not reaching your goals then you need to look at other options, not eating is not the answer ladies, you can’t gain muscle by not eating, and if your eating super low calories for so long your body will adapt to this. I’m so proud of you Elle! You listened to me, you trusted me, and in the year of working with you I have seen you grow so much! Elle is currently wearing a swimmers on her holiday for first time! How amazing is that! She’s also eating lots of food without a worry in the world! That’s a transformation on its own!

18.01.2022 Amazing progress by my client Zac, exactly 4 months today Zac signed up with me looking to lose some weight. As I say all the time, clients need dedication and drive to get results like this, when they come to me I always know who will get results, they show up, they track their food, they check in with me, everything Zac did. He would get most of his sessions in every week, tracked his food 70 % of the time. Still lived his life but just made some changes. We will now wor...k together to reverse his calories back up, so he doesn’t gain weight back. Then gain more muscle! So look out for the next 4 months Did I also mention his feeling so much fitter that he asked for a CrossFit session in his program, which his doing once a week! The Zac who came to me at the start was mortified with the 90 sec rest break he got in weights! Haha now his smashing out burpees over the bar, chin ups and he got a body weighted muscle up! So goal is to keep working on this for him, get him fitter, stronger and not gain the weight back. I never get over Seeing results like this, makes me so proud as a coach! Well done buddy

17.01.2022 Happy Sunday. !! How do you spend your Sunday? Do you plan your week out so you start Monday fresh minded, goal driven and ready to nail the week. Prepping that food, or just organising what your going to eat. Planning those workouts in your busy schedule. Or do you spend it hungover on the lounge feeling sorry for yourself, starting your week unorganised which will then lead to an unorganised week! ... Remember mindset it a powerful tool, if you go into your week positive with a good mindset on what your going to achieve than your more than likely to succeed on your week. 3 more weeks left on my special for the year!! 16.01.2022 Clients progress! Here is my client Sammy, who came to me wanting to put on size, had been trying for so long but couldn’t find anything he would stick to or enjoy. Sammy started personal training with me 3 x a week, I then taught him to calorie track. ... We had him eating over 3000 calories to put some size on. After Sammy got to a size he was happy with, we went into a shred phase, I cut his calories down. And over a 10 week period he hit his goal. So proud of Sammy, his now training on his own on my app, coming 4 days a week. And doesn’t miss a session. I think in the year I have been training him he has missed 5 sessions. That’s pretty impressive and goes to show dedication and perseverance is what gets you there. We are now going to reverse diet, so we can get his calories back high and build some muscle. Doing this slowly but so he keeps his lean shape. I’m so proud of you mate and how much you have grown since we meet!

14.01.2022 One thing I pride myself on with my gym, I don’t just take on clients and off they go, each client has the option to meet with me for an hour at the gym to go over each exercise, if they are a beginner I make this a must, making sure they learn the Correct form on their program before they head off on their own. I spend time with them learning each exercise and how to use the app, so they walk in and feel confident in what they are doing. When new exercises come on the progra...m they have the option of filming themselves or booking a time for me to come and check their form. My members know that your not just a number at my space, I actually care, go out of my way to make sure they are performing correct form and learning correct way. When I worked at a commercial gym to often I would see people sign up then never come use the space because they had no idea what they were doing. This is exactly why I wanted my space, so no person ever felt lost in the gym.

13.01.2022 Silly season is in full swing! Which it the most exciting time of the year, lots of food and drinking, how good is that! Although a lot of us don’t want to lose everything we have worked so hard for, and unfortunately 1 bad night can undo all your hard work through the week. ( I know shit right) so how can you prevent this from happening. Once you have your Daily calories, you need to then times it by 7 ( numbers of days in a week) so if your eating 1700 cals a day 1700 x 7... = 11900 Now you can work out where you wanna spend those 11900 calories. So if your Chrissy party is on Saturday then you can set your week up like this - Monday - 1400 Tuesday - 1400 Wednesday- 1400 Thursday - 1400 Friday - 1400 Saturday and Sunday you have 4900 calories to play with on your weekend. So you could have 2 untracked days but just being mindful that 4900 calories isn’t a huge lot to go absolutely crazy on, or you could estimate your weekend ( which would be more accurate) so adding your drinks in on Saturday, then your food, maybe means fasting for breakfast to save cals, or having a protein shake. Then for your Sunday a good hungover meal, as well as some nutritional food. There you have a fun weekend without ruining progress for your week. Now your probably thinking alcohol couldn’t effect me that bad right? Alcohol effects our bodies metabolic processes. This is because our body cannot covert calories from alcohol and the body has to use them up. This delays other process in the body such as fat burning and protein synthesis. So if your having that juicy kabab or Maccas on the way home this will most likely be stored, as your body is to busy using up the calories from the alcohol you just drank. So I’m not saying do not drink, as we are humans and aussies and it’s in our culture. Just be smart about your decisions if your striving for a goal, and drinking every weekend, then you have yourself to blame for not seeing progress. Also if your not completely hungover on the lounge try and move your body, laying around all day after over eating and drinking is another reason for weight gain. On another note, you all can have a drink for me this silly season

I feel like this is the time of the year people usually give up on their fitness and health goals, silly season gets in the way. They either cancel or don’t go. 11.01.2022 How many of you are going to put down lose weight, get healthy, grow a butt, get big ect ect in your New Years resolution this year? For 2021 to come around and you not do a thing about it but wish. No one can force you off your butt but yourself. Stop waiting for a fresh new year to come around to change the way you feel and look, stop putting yourself last. ... If 2020 has taught us anything it’s that’s Our health is the most important thing out of anything! If your not training or moving your body. YOU need to change that, stop making excuses, like work, not enough time ect, stop lying to yourself, be honest and admit that it’s not important to you. We all have the same amount of time in our day. It’s how you utilise it. If your not doing anything to improve your health in 2021 after a global pandemic that made us realise how important our health is, then I don’t know what will get you going! To often people use so many excuses to why they can’t train or go for walks, but instead they need to call their own bullshit and say my health isn’t important to me. Let that roll of the tongue and see how that makes you feel. So in 2021 is your health going to be important to you?..

09.01.2022 We have all seen @kelli.ruggiero transformation on my page many times, but I continue to share it as unlike a lot of people who lose weight then re gain it and some times gain more because of how they have done it, kel hasn’t, she has turned this into a lifestyle. Kel hit her 300 workout today on my app and it made me think about how far we have came together, personal training days, to now training on her own and feeling so confident. So many people expect results to happen... over night, but they don’t they take a lot of time. What I love about kel is she’s a different person, the confidence she has built during the process is truely amazing. Kel has travelled the world during these 2 photos, but still managed to not gain her weight back. By having a coach that coaches you through weight loss gives you constant diet breaks, doesn’t keep you in a deficit for long periods of time. Listens to you. Results like this happen. I think the most important message to take away after reading this, is time, results take time. So be patient and don’t give up, because they will happen. See more

09.01.2022 So so happy with this chicks progress! A mum of 2, training from home with just body weight and bands. I think any mums out there know how hard it is to train while you have kids at home, so to get in 4 session a week is just dedication. Kiah has been working with me since June the 18th so not even 3 months yet, nothing drastic here, we are tracking calories, 3-4 workouts and walking days she doesn’t train. When someone wants it bad enough they find a drive and dedication that not everyone has, I have always said it, you need to want this for it to happen. Biggest change here is how Kiah is now feeling, so much more happier, energised and overall so much more confident! That’s the big win.

07.01.2022 Welcome to 2021! Time to set some new goals and ambitions. Yesterday was about appreciating the year we had, today (or tomorrow if your hungover ) is about planning for the year ahead. Armour body is now opening their books again for this month. ... Message me now to start your year off the right way!

06.01.2022 Alright guys I’m bringing in the transformations today! Cyntarrah started on with me the exact same day as kiah, my last post. Her goals were a little different but only needed me to help her with her nutrition as she already had a strength coach, she is doing a powerlifting Comp in a few weeks and had to get to her weight class. Which meant a 10 kg drop, I had 3 months to help her do this, and I’m happy to say we are 3 weeks away and just needing 500 gram drop to hit it.. Amazing progress and can’t wait to hear about the power lifting comp!

06.01.2022 This week I’m 34 weeks pregnant- I’ll be honest with you I’m not enjoying training much at all, it’s so hard at the moment because i feel so heavy, plus the constant need to pee. I miss lifting heavy shit, I miss not being able to breath cause I have pushed myself to my limits, I miss feeling strong and lean. The thing is just because I’m not enjoying my training, I’m still doing it, even if it’s 30 mins a day, sometimes I just do body weights, I still walk every day. I haven...’t completely thrown the towel in, why you might ask? Because of the benefits training provides to our body and mind, I say this all the time, the benefits should be enough of a reason. I set myself a goal at the start of this pregnancy to train all the way up, every day since I have been pregnant I have done atleast 4 sessions a week ( other than when I lost my girl) I hope this motivates you to get off your arse and move your body! If a 34 week pregnant lady who is running her own business can still train 4 days a week, I ask what excuse you are going to throw at yourself. Go for a walk, take the kids to the skate park and do a body weighted circuit while they play. If your lucky enough and member at my gym you can bring your kids lol. Get off your arse every day and do something. Sometimes in life appearance goals aren’t important, that doesn’t mean training should stop being important.

04.01.2022 Some snippets of the new space! Nearly done, few more bits of equipment to get in time and I’ll be 100 % happy, this is definitely what I have dreamt of my space looking. Armour body isn’t your commercial gym, it’s a space for people to feel comfortable training and enjoy their surroundings. I was always so intimidated when I started training and my dream was to build a space that people wouldn’t feel this way. They would enjoy training. ... Mums could bring their kids with them, you weren’t fighting for equipment, you built friendships with the people training next to you. Instead of chucking ear phones in and not speaking to a soul. Armour body stronger mind, stronger body!

03.01.2022 Why do so many have the mindset with their health and fitness that if we fuk up one day, we completely give up, throw the week in. Didn’t gym all week no point starting now it’s Thursday how about haven’t been to the gym all week but there is still 4 days left of my week that I can aim to hit my sessions Ate an entire block of chocolate, no point eating healthy now I stuffed my day up instead ate the entire block of chocolate, moving on and making my next choice of... meal a healthier one better start my diet Monday now because I stuffed up so I’ll start fresh Monday why not stuffed up my diet but making healthier and better choices the next meal or next day Work has been to busy this week I can’t train, no point continuing this because work always comes in the way how about this month at work is crazy, I’m going to do my best to get to the gym, if I can’t make it all my days I’ll aim for 2 sessions on my weekend, or I’ll go for a walk I hear every excuse under the sun when it comes to people giving up on their health and fitness. Unfortunately I can’t make everyone stick this lifestyle, people will give up because their mindset isn’t in it. Mindset is a powerful too, something that only you can change, how to view things can be the reason you give up or succeed. If something wasn’t working at work, would you just say fuk it I give up and quit? Or would you continue to work towards what your trying to succeed, manage the set backs and keep trying to move forward? How you view things can be a powerful tool.
