25.01.2022 Hey guys We do apologise to the people that we have missed or not got back too over covid and the ramifications it has had. I never thought as a business owner saying we are just that busy it's hard to answer everyone. Our phone has taken on average 80 calls a day which is overwhelming to say the least.... As of mid next week please be aware Shaun will no longer be the person taking the calls, bookings or giving phone advice. We also will be changing our phone setup in the coming weeks. Our new employee comes with 14 years of running and managing a large workshop environment under her belt, Is very heavily involved in the 4x4 scene and vehicle modifications and is well ahead of most people so don't take her lightly . We hope from this point forward a few areas we have been lacking in are addressed moving forward. Looking forward to the changes ahead. Hope you guys are too. I will touch base quickly on our conversions. The thing that started us on the map. From the first quarter next year we will only be doing one every 3 months. So bookings are essential as there are only 3 spots available. This does not include TD conversions. 23.01.2022 Dean's mog came to us with some very heavy steering. After carrying out all the checks to make sure there was no pressure related issues with a tired power steering pump, we ordered a reconditioned steering box. All fitted up, set the assist relief's and sent him on his way. He is stoked he can now turn those 46' tyres with one arm again. Nothing worse then not being able to drink your morning coffee with out spilling it.... WESTCOAST 4x4 CREATIONS

17.01.2022 So what happens when you send your vehicle to a shop for a front crank seal..... They Installed the balancer and pushed the keyway out while doing so. What really sends me wild is they clearly sent it home with a ratlle gun not thinking at all something is not right as it's extremely hard to get to bottom out. Unfortunately this was on a tb engine so it sent the keyway straight through timing cover breaching the oil pump housing. This resulted in low oil pressure in time a...nd whilst the engine is still running it has taken it's toll for its future. Did this workshop come to the party and accept the stuff up. NOT AT ALL. Now it's up to the client to fix and us to repair his faith in what a good mechanic should be. Whilst we don't have a flash service area or wait room we will promise you we will do the right thing by our loyal customers. So disappointing to see. WESTCOAST 4x4 CREATIONS 0417090373

10.01.2022 Unimogs Everywhere It's been a busy week for unimogs this week. We fitted a new set of boots to Steve's u1700 with a set of new mirrors, new drivline oils and a park brake valve. ... Then had dean's u1700 in for a full service including fuel filters and drivline oils. Few bigger tasks to come. Both mogs back on the road well maintained ready for there next adventure.
