25.01.2022 "A day on the golf course" Saturday October 3rd saw a welcome change of pace for the CAPITAL staff, as they cruised the fairways and greens of the Maylands Peninsula Golf Course. The Course was fantastic, the weather amazing, the food and drink exquisite, the golf was....... and a great day was had by all!!... The winning team on the day went to Dave Markham, Mason, Jason and Ed. Best dressed team was undoubtedly, twins Rachel and Chris, while Beto was awarded the the prize for the best golfers outift. Massive thanks to the CAPITAL Management team and Ray for organising a fun and relaxing day (golf claps please), and we look forward to the next one!!

21.01.2022 Orange tree that keeps on giving!!! Back in 2018 CAPITAL demolished a house which had a very nice and healthy orange tree which the owners didn’t want to keep. Rather than let it go to mulch, the neighbor requested to have it planted in their yard. Excavator operator Ed was all too happy to help out, he carefully and expertly transplanted the beautiful citrus tree into Nona’s yard. 2 years on, Nona came to visit us this week with a gorgeous orange cake, ...made with oranges from that very tree!! Its so nice to know that this tree has been taken care of and is again providing yummy fruit!! Over 550 cubic metres of old, broken concrete and bitumen was taken to our CAPITAL Recycling Facilities @ Welshpool and Postans , where it will be crushed and screened and re-manufactured into various product...s such as road base, drainage rock and concrete aggregates. CAPITAL Concrete then supplied our innovative Eco-concrete for the construction of the new crossovers, with hardstands to be completed soon. 15.01.2022 CAPITAL was recently contracted to carry out demolition works at BP in Silversands. The client needed the canopy above the fuel pumps demolished, removed and disposed of, to make way for a new canopy and renovations to the petrol station. After carefully disconnecting the canopy from the main shop building, several strategic cuts were made to the support pillars under the canopy. Doing this meant Kiwi Ray was able to bring down the canopy in one swift smooth movement. As pl...anned everything went according to plan without any problems.
