The Club has until 9 October 2020 to register teams to play in the Peel Junior Cricket Association competition this year. Registrations for ALL ages from our Blasters to Under 15s have been very slow. To those of you who have registered your young cricketers, I thank you very sincerely. If you have not yet registered, could you please do so as the club has a lot of planning to do around entering teams into competitions. I also need to advise parents that have registered whether or not we are going to have teams. This is so that they can find new clubs if they have to, I hope this is not the case. 13.01.2022 WELCOME BACK DANE Warnbro Swans Cricket Club is proud to announce that Dane Ugle has agreed to come back to the club for the 2020/21 Cricket Season. Dane is looking forward to getting back to the Club and for his family to be involved at the Swannies where he has already played 95 games. Dane has previously played for Rockingham Mandurah where he helped them to the 2015/16 WACA 1st grade premiership, scoring 158 not out in the Preliminary Final. In his time with Rockingha...m Mandurah he won the Olly Cooley Medal as the best player in the WACA 1st Grade competition for the 2017/18 Season. Dane also has spent a BBL Season training with the Perth Scorchers as the Perth Scorchers Community Rookie. Both Dane and Warnbro Swans Cricket Club are looking forward to his involvement at the club where Dane will join the Clubs coaching group to pass on his invaluable advice and experience. In particular Dane is looking forward to working with the Swannies upcoming younger talent to get the best out of them in future seasons. Welcome back Dane.

12.01.2022 Season 2020/21 Newsletter No1 Gidday and Welcome Back Season 2020/21 has started amidst some uncertainty around Covid 19 and how it would affect the season. So far the current restrictions have caused very little disruption, having said that, preseason has only just started.... Preseason Training Preseason Training has commenced. As expected, attendance has not been high. Attendance should improve once the weather improves and the days start warming up. I understand that quite a few of you are engaged in winter sports and that is as it should be. Please see attached schedule. Registration Registrations are now open and we have had a few Junior Cricketers already register for the new season, to those that have already registered, thank you. For those that have yet to register, could you please do so at your earliest convenience,. Early registration of players gives the club more time to sort teams out and enter the correct number of teams with the Peel Junior Cricket Association. Registration can be done on line at "Play Cricket" and then follow the prompts. If you do not have access to a computer or the internet or you need assistance to register your young cricketer, please give me a call on 0448 884 611. Last Seasons Windup and Trophy Presentation Due to Covid 19 last seasons windup and trophy presentation had to be cancelled. Laser Tag, Bouncy Castle, Ice Cream and Coffee Van have been organised, all we require to make this event successful is you and your young cricketer. Parents, please remember to bring a plate. Bring your kit. It is understood that some of you may be involved in winter sports, thats okay, if you have nothing on then we will see you at Warnbro Recreation Centre. Preseason Training will also be on Sunday, 23 August and Sunday, 1 September.
