19.01.2022 Had my first crack at repairing a threaded hole with a recoil kit, so nerve racking but got it done! Now the power steering pump and alternator can be bolted on, we may be close to putting the engine in finally. Also noted that the AVO intake pipe is quite large it seems to sit on the power steering pump inlet, will see how it goes.... 18.01.2022 Picked up some other items to finish off the Forester when the motors finished, needed inlet manifold and intercooler. Picked up an engine which had dropped a valve and everything I needed, only piece missed Ng now is a turbo inlet has as the current one is cactus. Surface area on the standard TMIC is dismally, would love to upgrade to a Process West unit so I could utilise my STi scoop.... 17.01.2022 Parked up in Freo today and had this one park up next to us. You can see the small difference between the older and newer models. Newer model also had air vents in the arm rest for the middle row and a larger screen for the stereo.... Also not sure if I prefer the newer rims which are solid alloy colour instead of the dark grey/silver highlights.
