23.01.2022 Premier's Sporting Challenge Medal Today Craig D was awarded the Premier's Sporting Challenge Medal. This medal is awared to a student who enthusiastically participates in all sporting activities, tries their best, displays sportsmanship and never gives up. Craig displays all of these qualities and has come so far since he started Kindergarten at Perthville, with parts of the day in a wheel chair. We hope you enjoy the video below that showcases some of Craig's achievements this year. His grit and determination to be in the thick of it with the other students is admirable. 22.01.2022 Swimming Lessons Start Monday! Don't forget your swimmers, towel, sunscreen, goggles, hat and a bag for your wet clothes. Years 2 and 3 swim at 11.15 and Years 4, 5 and 6 swim at 12.15. We look forward to a cool time in the pool! Mrs James I Principal

21.01.2022 Tennis Time Thank you Mr Dickson for applying for a grant through Sporting Schools which enabled us to purchase brand new tennis equipment. It arrived at the perfect time, right before our tennis lessons which start on Wednesday for K-2 students. Mrs Cole | Sports Coordinator

12.01.2022 Week 7 Assembly & Sports Awards A special congratulations to Jack C who received a medal. Congratulations also to the gold, blue star and merit award winners. Even though Covid restricted most sporting events this year, we still managed to squeeze a few in! Awards and certificates were presented to students for participation and representation in Perthville, District and Western teams. 12.01.2022 Year 6 Big Day Out Today our year 6 students enjoyed tenpin bowling, lunch at the RSL and a swim at the aquatic centre. They represented our school extremely well. It was wonderful to spend a nice day with them. One more day of primary school remaining. Included in this post are photos of the groups of students attending Denison College, Private High Schools and those that achieved entry into the Kelso High iExtend academic class (Rianna, Hudson, Lenard, Erin and Olinda).... 12.01.2022 Year 5 Leadership Speeches Our Year 5 students have been preparing for their speeches on Friday and discussing leadership skills for next year. This year’s program was a little different as the students recorded videos and set up sports activities for the younger students to complete. 09.01.2022 iLearn Year 6 Transition Tomorrow 20th November! Just a reminder that due to a lift in Covid restrictions, Denison college campuses have been able to offer an addition transition day. The program starts at both campuses at 9.30am and concludes at 2.30pm. I will be attending Kelso campus, those attending Bathurst campus will be supported by high school staff. Drop off and pick up is by private vehicle. Bring recess and lunch in case the canteen is not operating. Mr D | Year 6 Teacher

07.01.2022 What a Beautiful Day for a Teddy Bear's Picnic! Check out our Possums and their favourite teddy today at our last transition session. The teddies had a dance, listened to stories, played on the equipment and even went on a picnic! We are looking forward to our Possums starting in Kindergarten in 2021. 06.01.2022 Welcome Possums! We have had a fabulous two sessions with our 2021 Kindergarten students! We have been learning the school rules, playing, dancing, painting and much more! 05.01.2022 iCreate program wraps up! The year 5 students who attended the iCreate program have had their last session today. Ben and Lotte, our music representatives will attend a final session at Bathurst High Campus on Friday 27th to film a whole group performance. These performances will be shared through the Denison College Facebook pages.
