A massive thank you on behalf of the entire committee to everyone who attended and participated, making the night a huge success. We are incredibly grateful and overwhelmed with the amount of interest expressed in the event and the fantastic turnout. A special ‘Thank you’ to our keynote speakers, who each engaged everyone with their amazing presentations. 10.01.2022 INTRODUCING: PAUL SHILLINGTON Paul is a Partner in the Perth office of Hogan Lovells, an international law firm with 47 offices in 24 countries. Paul has over 20 years of experience in energy and infrastructure projects, with a wealth of knowledge in oil, gas and LNG. Paul has also held senior legal practice and executive roles, including as chief legal officer of a Geneva-based energy company with assets in Iraq and Africa, and as the founder and principal of his own legal ...advisory practice with offices in Perth and Paris. Paul has worked on many international energy projects, advising operators, non-operators, contractors and sponsors in areas including acquisitions and divestments, commodity sales, joint ventures and project governance, legal risk management, contracting strategy, major procurement, dispute management and regulatory issues. Paul has worked closely with clients on some of the largest LNG development projects undertaken in the Asia-Pacific region, and on acquiring, developing and managing energy assets located in Africa, Iraq, and the Asia Pacific region. Paul and his team recently published 2 papers on the evolving hydrogen industry in Australia, and is a keen participant in industry and professional groups addressing energy transition.
