13.01.2022 Quick update on my injury is I've left my hospital stay today! I've got some post hospital follow up appointments back there but I'm officially home now which is the best feeling. I wanted to thank everyone who made any effort to reach out to me or wish me well as there has been so many contacts from everywhere its hard to keep track of it all, but thank you all for your thoughts!... Lastly thank you to my chicky Cara. I will eventually be able to speak the words I want to about how much you mean to me and how thankful I am for everything you've done, but at the moment I'm struggling to get any real words out. You mean the WORLD to me and I'm so thankful for everything you have done for me - especially lately. I love you with all of my heart! Xx

09.01.2022 Hey everyone - A bit of an update for you all, day 10 since the accident! Pete has made some awesome progress in the last few days, this photo was taken just this morning! His personality is starting to really shine back through (he's being a full on comedian ) and he's quite 'unfiltered', up on his feet way more now and moving around fine! He still doesn't really remember what has happened or where he is, it seems to be a surprise to him each time I tell him about the cra...sh and his injuries, he also thought he was in America, China, and Perth today He's moved into the rehabilitation area now and started different daily sessions to get his head back on track, which will be so much better for him He's also been running wild on social media, I've seen a few pretty questionable comments he's left here and there He'll be in here for a couple of weeks yet, but hopefully with how much progress he's made over the long weekend he'll be back in action in no time. 07.01.2022 Been having fun with my training again this year! Was overdoing it during 2018 and got a little burnt out, but a reset and taking more time to listen to my body has made a big difference. Always good times with the @momentumvsports team

06.01.2022 Hey everyone, an update on Pete for you all From the crash he had 2 small bleeds on the brain, broken scapula and a bruised lung, along with some scrapes and bruises. His head knock was pretty substantial and it'll take some time for him to recover, but the doctors say he'll get back to normal eventually He'll stay in hospital for at least another week while his brain heals, and a bit longer after that depending on how he goes getting back on his feet. At the moment, he i...s sleeping majority of the time and still pretty confused with whats going on, understandably he doesn't remember too much either - Not ready for visitors just yet, sorry! He is starting to come around little by little, he even grabbed his phone and was reading through some of the messages you have all been sending him, and sent a few funny looking replies He's very keen on holding hands, kisses, head & neck rubs, and saying some really random stuff! Thank you all so much for you kind wishes for Pete, although while reading through some of them he said, "Everyone keeps talking about this crash, but i dont know what they're on about" Keep the love coming, he needs all the good vibes he can get right now See more
