25.01.2022 Starting a new job in Dalkeith today.
25.01.2022 Today we started an exciting new build in Coolbinia. This multi million dollar home is designed by Architect John Murphy, Construction Manager, Alan Strum, Engineers Bill Smalley. See images below of myself with clients Jo and Damon. A monster demolition machine, poised to remove the existing building and a 3D rendering of what will be at the end.

24.01.2022 The old trolley and the running gantries helped today as we loaded two enormous leather lounges and a coffee table built from a antique rowing scull into the up...stairs mezzanine at the Boatshed. Flooring is to match caulked decking on a boat. Balustrade to the bifold doors inspired by ships handrails. Stairs are of jarrah, naturally. See more

22.01.2022 We needed to transport a pair of big steel beams to the rear laneway, but the truck was too big for the laneway. So we loaded the 8 meter, 330kg beams on to the ute, one by one and drove them around. 4 guys, a trolley and some clever lifting safely had the beams in position for installation at Kings Rd Subiaco today.

12.01.2022 Progress continues under the blue skies of Perth at Coolbinia. Rammed recycled concrete walls up, retainers bricked up, cavity filled and waterproofed, structural steel columns levelled and plumbed. Ready for levelling compacting and a concrete slab.
09.01.2022 Kings Road Subiaco. Steel beams are now in, existing walls about to be removed to allow for a large space. Demolition almost complete.

We are privileged to be responsible for design and the extensive renovation to this historic apartment, one of the Pink Mansions built C 1897. Our design and management team consists of Xing Jing Tan, project manager; Alan Holbrook, architect; Annie Benson Interiors, interior designer and myself Peter Bodeker director. Built in 1897, they have morphed from fashionable residences , from the horse and buggy days to a crime ridden slums and back again. We are lucky enough to be responsible for designing and constructing a total renovation and modernization in the classical style, one of them.
