23.01.2022 Congratulations>>>David Campbell @DavidCampbell73 Today I have been sober for 6 years. 2190 days without a drink. It has been a gift. I wish I had done it sooner. I wish I was sober for all of Leos early years. But its great to be here now. Present. Aware. Open. To those struggling now stay strong. Dont judge yourself.
22.01.2022 I dont give a damn how old someone is, or if they have an underlying condition, every single life is equally important. Those casually suggesting they should be sacrificed in this #Coronavirus crisis for the greater economic good are disgusting. Wheres our humanity?
21.01.2022 Sometimes all you need is a bit of "Dog therapy"....

19.01.2022 A Virginia pastor who told his congregants, God is larger than this dreaded virus died of COVID-19 the day before Easter, his church said. The New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, in North Chesterfield, Virginia, right outside Richmond, announced the death of Bishop Gerald O. Glenn in an Easter Sunday address.

Two well-known physicians from Florida, a father and son, have died from COVID-19 complications, just five weeks apart. If I hear just one more media commentator say its only old people and its like the flu I will dream.. 12.01.2022 Very sad news. The boss of Sydneys water-edge restaurant, the iconic Catalina, Michael McMahon has died of a heart attack. He was one of the goodies. RIP.
12.01.2022 Their glory shall never die, the whole wide world Is their Sepulchre. Their epitaph is written in the Hearts of all mankind... and wherever there is talk Of noble deeds their names will be held in grateful Remembrance. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We shall remember them. We shall remember them. Lest we forget! Lest we forget!

A young female crew member once again had her flight home cancelled, A young male crew member went overboard. Thats now 4 crew members who have taken their life. Very sad, thinking of their families, Captains and crew family onboard. ... May they all ride the ocean and peace RIP

04.01.2022 Try and look on the bright side. Food for thought.. The pessimist only sees darkness into the tunnel... The optimist sees the light at the end of the tunnel... The realist sees a light approaching into the tunnel The train driver sees 3 idiots walking in the railway tunnel

03.01.2022 A sad day again for my radio community. A note from the daughter of my fellow lions club member Pilippa Guarna VALE STU CRANNEY... In 1998 I started work at Triple M... my first cross onair was as the Gig Piglet and it was with Stu Cranney. Today, 22 years later, Im doing HIS shift at C91.3FM this morning and paying tribute to an absolute legend who passed away last night to cancer. Cranney was part of the golden era of radio, a rocker at heart, a passionate and kind man who loved radio and who loved his listeners even more. Dont know if you believe in divine timing but I made a decision this year to move home for good after six years in the Middle East, and the first job I got offered was to come back onair with my family at C91.3, 16yrs after I left. Maybe some things are just meant to be. I will never fill Cranneys shoes today but were all just doing our best to pay tribute to this gentle giant whos meant so much to so many of us for so long. Your voice may go silent on the airwaves now Stu but I have too many airchecks on cassette that I can hear your personality forever. Love you Stu. Condolences to everyone who loved him too.
02.01.2022 I have many friends working on cruise ships So, cruise ships are getting kicked out because of foreign crew. What about airlines and air crew coming in daily? Cargo ships in our ports? Double standards by the govt? They certainly know how to bite the hand that contributed $5billion to the Australian economy last year, only weeks ago was being lauded for being the first to get back into bushfire affected communities and contributing to their recovery, and for providing free cr...uises to thank and acknowledge Australias first responders. My how times have changed. For all that cruising has done and contributed in this region, it seems the whole industry is being crucified by Media and Government largely because of the inaction and ineptitude of NSW Health 2 weeks ago - for something these same authorities regarded as low risk at the time. So, now they pull the rug under the whole industry, and shift the blame to avoid scruitiny on themselves, with the media gleefully coming along for the ride. I am truly saddened at the outbreak on Ruby Princess. I was working on the ship that day myself. But the hypocrisy is astounding. If NSW Health hadve done their job properly in the first place, we wouldnt be here. Cruise lines have been following their directives all through the last couple of months, increasingly screening passengers, reporting, weeding out high risk guests, denying boardings and placing protections in and around ships, guests, crew and terminal spaces. And since NSW Health failed, the cruise lines and the ships are the easiest and most obvious targets to shift the blame
01.01.2022 Remembering 2 Beautiful Mums. Mary Graham and Lil Scarborough ( mother in law).
01.01.2022 2 years ago today I was the Celebrant at a mates funeral. We grew up together.. Mates,....I left our gang of mates when I started in Radio, I was 18 at the time , off to 2MG Mudgee Ive travelled down some lonely roads, Both crooked tracks and straight. An Ive learned lifes noblest creed,... Summed up in one word Mate. Im thinking back across the years, (a thing I do of late) An this word sticks between me ears; Youve got to have a Mate. Someone wholl take you as you are, Regardless of your state, An stand as firm as Ayres Rock Because e is your mate. And though its all so long ago, This truth I ave to state: A man dont know what lonely means Til e has lost his Mate. If theres a life that follows this, If theres a Golden Gate, The welcome I just want to ear Is just, Good on y Mate. An when Ive left the drivers seat, An handed in me plates, Ill tell ol Peter at the door, Ive come to join me Mates. Rest in peace Trevor Brown.
01.01.2022 You never know what is around the corner. You head off to work expecting to see your family that night..
