Thank you #1 to the District Council of Peterborough and John Reich and Co for their hard work with the CWMS connection and trench for our irrigation system. Thank you #2 to our PYAC favourites Heather and Tim for installing the irrigation system at the Youth Centre garden today! Movie starts @ 8pm so come along after 7.45pm to grab your special viewing spot for the movie. Well have & for sale to satisfy your movie snickety-snack requirements. Kelly will also be here selling her glow sticks & toys as a PYAC fundraiser with items available from $1 - $10. See you all tonight!

So grab a mate & simply come & chill.......... we have pool, hockey, futsal, board games, Wii, dvds, books, art & craft, or some outdoor fun with the 2 brand new courts to play on - whatever you wanna do, the choice is yours

But its all good - we still have all things glowing with Kel, all things snickety snack with popcorn, icey poles, softies & water, & an awesome screening of Coco. 12.01.2022 Happy New Year! Lets hope 2021 brings lots of fun and enjoyment back to Peterborough. While COVID-19 certainly changed the way we could do things at the PYC, we still were able to get plenty done in 2020 including: 1. Helping with Rodeo clean up (fundraising activity) 2. PYAC Pool party in February 3. FAT night - come n chill March 4. Driver Training (when we could) with lessons and our mentoring program... 5. Training for our volunteers including First Aid, Safe Food Handling and Child Safe Environments training 6. Project Plantastic - the start of our front garden makeover 7. CWMS connection and the start of our Fence Renewal Project - doesn't the new fence look fantastic! 8. SA Youth Week Lego Masters Challenge 9. Xmas decoration creations for the SPRING Xmas luncheon at Victoria Park, and 10. Purchase of some new games for our YC reopening in 2021! 11.01.2022 The Peterborough Youth Action Committee is looking at running a Safe Food Handling (Basic Food Safety Certificate) for its volunteers & is keen to know if other members of the community would also be interested. The course would be through TAFE SAs SRC subsidised program and would cost $50 per participant. It would be a 4 hour course held at the Youth Centre in early September (Thursday 3rd Sept). If you are interested please contact [email protected] to register your interest so we can see if its viable for us to run!

11.01.2022 Are you interested in Child Safe Environments Training? The Youth Centre will be hosting a CSE Course on Friday the 11th September 2020. This training is being provided for FREE funded by the Rowan Ramsey Volunteer Grants Program. All participants will be issued with a certificate of completion for attending the course. COVID-Safe practices will be in effect on the day of the training. Details will be provided upon enrolment. 08.01.2022 ****** PETERBOROUGH YOUTH CENTRE UPDATE********** The Peterborough Youth Centre is sorry to advise that all activities at the Youth Centre including Friday Activities, Youth Action Committee Meetings, the Driver Training Program and all Youth Centre bookings are suspended until further notice in line with the updated government requirements regarding COVID-19. We are extremely sorry to our PYC followers but the safety of our yadults and broader community is first and foremost. Cost is $50 subsidised under the SRC funding program with TAFE SA.
