16.01.2022 On behalf of the entire team at Line & Label, we want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful community for your ongoing support over the last few months! While navigating our way through this pandemic and the new normal, we have been blown away by the number of people who have reached out with words of encouragement and eagerness for us to reopen. Following the announcement of the initial government restrictions back in March, we made the tough decision to close our doors f...or a period of six months to monitor the situation and give us time to reassess the constantly changing state that is the pandemic . At this stage, we have no plans to reopen over the winter period, however we are continuously monitoring the situation and the restrictions that come with it, while preparing to reopen when we are confident we can provide the safe and unique experience you all deserve. 15.01.2022 Delacolline Estate kitchen lives on... We are so proud to have been able to donate the old gas cooker, benches and dishwasher and send them to another good home. It was an honour to work with the local Port Lincoln RSL branch and Kym Clarke Constructions to create this new kitchen, so many veterans, their friends and family can now enjoy more meals together at the RSL. 11.01.2022 The 2020 Teakle Auto Sprint has been cancelled due to recent Australian Government regulations regarding the COVID-19 virus and bans on events attracting more than 500 people. EP Autosports Committee Chairman Tony Rodda announced the news today in Port Lincoln saying it was a difficult, but responsible decision to make. As naming rights sponsor, Peter Teakle supports the decision to cancel the event.... We are in unchartered waters with this situation, but we are taking a position of leadership with the decision to cancel the 2020 Teakle Auto Sprint. Organisers will meet with sponsors, competitors and stakeholders to ensure they understand all options were considered before cancelling the 2020 event. In between the wind gusts, it was announced that Bathurst Champion Jim Richards will be competing, a Formula 1 car that drove in the Adelaide Grand Prix will be doing demonstration laps, both days will have the 'long track' and more large screens will be put up for you to enjoy every corner of the action. 05.01.2022 Tunes with Paddy Rowe today, sun shining and people everywhere... you are welcome until around 6pm when we will close the gate and celebrate the end of a successful 2019 up on the hill. What a year with only 180 trade days, we served over 111,000 Spencer Gulf Prawns with our signature squid ink, delivered over 1700 Ocean Jacket Snouts to curious diners, almost 800 serves of our delicious broccoli and poured thousands of glasses of wine, beers and cocktails. Thank you to every...one who has joined us this year on our adventure. 03.01.2022 Vale David Jones. 4 June 1922 13 June 2020 The team at Line & Label the Restaurant and Peter Teakle Wines are deeply saddened by the recent news. David was a World War II Veteran and the founding owner of Delacolline Winery Estate.... Peter Teakle purchased the former Delacolline Winery back in early 2016. We are extremely grateful for his courage, passion for life and his service to our country. His legacy continues to bring our team and our guests great joy with the beauty he has created in our vineyards and gardens. David spent many years up on the hill, planting vegetable gardens, tending to the vines and growing incredible roses which you may have had the joy of viewing in our magnificent garden. The team at Line & Label the Restaurant and Peter Teakle Wines are extremely thankful for the invaluable contribution David made to our world.
