This creates a environment and system fine tuned to cater for demand specific criteria and profit especially when there is no history of example Cavoodle, Groodle, Labradoodle, ect ect, bloodline health reports, history of physical abnormalities, differences in looks, hight, weight, and one of the biggest issues is type of fur will constantly vary. For example if th...e demand is more Poodle coat driven (teddy bear) look, with no shedding, no Oodle breeder can specifically breed for this result. If the quality control is left to these puppy farmers or backyard breeders than they will do what’s needed, as we have seen several times, to disposing of non poodle coat puppies, disposing of breeding dogs throwing out the wrong looking offspring. From buried alive, to shot, to being dumped, drowned in buckets of water, or abandoned and left to fend for themselves. With that being said and that’s only a fraction of how a lawless industry does its own quality control, problems that come later on in a mix breeds life tend to be left up to the new owners to take care of. From hips, to tear ducts, to cancers, to blindness, constant ear infections, to mixing two very different breeds that have bloodlines that shouldn’t be cross bred, is a recipe for uncertainty. Yes pets are getting looked after better than any time in history, Yes we love them more than our kids , Yes they are our bread and butter as we groom 100’s a week, Yes they are the best to cuddle up with in bed, we understand and know the positives. Our best advice is, these Oodles will be breed regardless, if it’s legal or not they are here to stay. Research, visit the breeder if you can, get in touch with previous litters to see if any dramas, be patient , purchase from somewhere reputable, and try not to purchase online unseen. If we can drink wine in wineries where the grapes are grown I would love to see cafe shops serve tables in the middle of slaughter houses. Same Same,? Or completely different because grapes... don’t have feelings? A debate that will last as long as the last 2 standing humans, whether animal consumption is right or not. There are humans who have out lived each-other on both sides of that argument but we can’t seem to formally agree on the animal abuse that goes on every second of the day in these slaughter houses. 01.01.2022 There is a lot that divides these pictures up. Not only are they completely different like chalk and cheese as some say but to a industry a important understanding of how much of a environments roll plays with our work. No dog should be caged when going for a groom, regardless if they are nervous, anxious, aggressive. Why can’t they be booked in first in the morning, done straight away and picked up? Profit over comfortability. Why can’t dogs of age, health issue, behaviour i...ssues be booked accordingly instead of sitting in a cage and watching other dogs in the salon walk around with no issue? Why isn’t the behaviour or issue of these dogs a problem to investors with no grooming handling or behaviour understanding, allowed to run a salon? Our industry is weak regarding laws, rules and regulations. Get to know your salon, get to understand its history, you don’t see coffee shops sell clothing do you, Understand purpose, check the environment, always recommend for your doggies to not be caged, see if there is natural light and airflow, check social media to see if there is any videos of salon during grooming hours to show dogs walking around or playing, I don’t think a salon would put stories up day in day out of dogs caged up? This post comes from a investor who wanted to franchise Petiquette, we have canned every aspect of this as cages and no outdoor area salons were preferred. We don’t make doggy cakes, or have some trending pet clothing brand on Instagram, we don’t do dog walking or training, we do rehabilitation with dogs that is salon related but it stops their, we didn’t start selling treats and thought grooming would be a nice extra, electricians dont put downlights in and install toilets, , ect ect.
