16.01.2022 010121 | Grateful . While 2020 provided its fair share of uncertainty and upheaval, it also delivered some kind of wonderful. . I am grateful to have lived where I do in this crazy year, and have a lovely home that was a perfect sanctuary in a strange and sometimes scary world.... . I am grateful that my family and friends are safe and well. And who checked in when things got tough. Love you. . I am grateful for this wonderful community that shared my year with me here. All of you. . I am grateful for zoom and teams that kept me connected, teaching my fabulous @lcimelbourne students and dancing at @glamourpussstudios @missjane88 (and keeping me in touch with my joyful tap family). . I am grateful for my LCIM family supporting me in my studies and the possibility to update my qualifications and get my degree. . 08.01.2022 020521 | Here’s a delicious little detail of my MAVIS rug (swipe to see the full design). She’s a part of my NEW AGAIN for Designer Rugs collection, launched five years ago, and named for my beautiful grandma Mavis who would have turned 98 a few days ago. Childhood memories are filled with visits to her home. Family meals finished off with her delectable trifle, her beautiful garden where I would spend hours playing in the sun, and the delicious floral paintings and delicate ...tapestries that hung on her walls. Today you’ll find one of her paintings on the wall in my own home, a treasured reminder. Grandma was one of the most beautiful, strong and graceful women I have known.
