23.01.2022 Weve recently been made aware of scams involving individuals seeking donations that they claim will be used to provide assistance to wildlife affected by the recent Australian bushfires. The Australian Pet Welfare Foundation is a pet health research and advocacy group. We are not involved in caring for wildlife, and we would never seek donations for this purpose. If you get a call from someone claiming to be raising funds for wildlife on our behalf, please let us know.

16.01.2022 As cat owners, we know that some of our feline friends love to explore outside. However, it is important to note that serious problems can occur if cats are allowed to roam outdoors, particularly at night. For instance, roaming cats may be hit by cars, exposed to fatal diseases through interaction or fights with another cat, become lost or harm native wildlife. So confining your cats inside the house, especially at night, can be beneficial for their safety. Click here for more information https://petwelfare.org.au/2017/07/04/safe-cat-confinement/
