09.02.2022 Covid-19 allowing, I'm heading off and hopefully organising a BDR for the trek. 4 months out and I'm looking forward to an adventure like this! The WSBK races are generally at the end of February. The dates are not yet confirmed. I have personally booked the 2nd last, and the last weekends of February in anticipation. Booking.com allows cancellations a week out if you book the correct property. Make sure you ensure it is an option. I'll be cancelling the one that doesn't... fit as soon as the dates are confirmed. 28.01.2022 With the cancellation of BDR Red Centre 2021, and the likelihood of lockdowns extending I'm planning a ride to ASBK at The Bend, SA. The total ride time, starting Jugiong and ending in Bathurst would be September 22-29. The only border crossing is from NSW to SA. Here's my first thoughts, which will be watching the motorbike races on Saturday and Sunday, then heading across the water for a day at Kangaroo Island. 18.01.2022 Hey guys: The ride to WSBK 2020. I had to change it up due to constraints with the official start being Canberra. With that in mind, Come and join me on a ride on Monday afternoon where I'll be leaving at about 12:30 from Wollongong to Canberra.... Here's the draft route. Waiting for feedback and approval. 13.01.2022 More news! Yey. I like good news. In keeping with the idea that after dinner it is nice to be able to 'walk' to the accommodation, I've booked us into The Boa...t Shed Lake Hume for a 6:30pm dinner. Find attached the menu. The Boat Shed have been kind and offered us 15% off the menu. You should have enough time to get ready, and if you feel inclined, go and check out the damn wall on Lake Hume. As at all times on the ride, I'd suggest you get a good night's sleep as we are having a brief at 7:30am.

02.01.2022 We're getting close to formalising this route for BDR to WSBK 2020. I haven't gotten the roads we will be taking from Sale to PI as yet. Bernie is working on that. In brief, the ride starts on the Tuesday. Start point for East NSW is going to be Queanbeyan. It also looks like we may have interest from Griffith and Dubbo, so I'm hopeful we'll have a Wagga Wagga start as well.
