My eating window; Sun-Fri I do daily fasts and aim for windows of either 8/16 or 6/18. Saturdays My fast window looks more like 20/4. 2. Why do IF? It suits my lifestyle; My lifestyle is busy-I dont have time to stop and eat every 2 hours. ... Im satisfied after my meals. My meals are a lot bigger = tastier options . It gives my body a break from digestion to focus on autophagy and inflammation control. 11.01.2022 Lately Ive been a bit of a sugar monster, indulging in a little too much sugar (reality check, were human and its fine) however for me personally I dont feel my energetic self I instead have been feeling rather sluggish and slow. Spirited souls have character and rules seem restrictive and affront to our sense of agency and our pride in working out our own lives. Why should I be judged according to anothers rule? 01.01.2022 Its one thing to compete; its another to continue to love yourself and your image post comp. - The purpose of life is to know yourself, trust yourself and be yourself. - You have got to continue your #selflove whilst your body transitions back to a everyday normality. Did you gain weight? probably, do your clothes fit different? you bet they do. Why? Because your conforming back to a maintainable lifestyle. - Sure there is such things as post comp blows outs however; 2-3...kg post show isnt exactly a blow out. - Eating a cheat meal or having a relaxed day of eating isnt bad and you shouldnt be left feeling anxious or guilty post it. Shift your mindset from needing to burn yesterdays food off to I deserve to enjoy foods that I like, I worked hard for it, lifes all about balance. Without balance; theres binge eating and with binge eating theres blow outs and other unhealthy eating disorders. - Another post comp dilemma is a negative mindset and thoughts like Ive gotten bigger switch your mind to@see the positives e.g my body is transitioning back to a healthy and maintainable physique. - Yes some veins disappear, lines arent visible and some clothes may fit differently; not because you blew out but because youre not eating the minimal essentials and were no longer in a deficency in calories- surprise thats completely normal and bound to happen when your 2-3kg heavier. Your body will do such things like hold water some days and create fluid retention depending on meal choices on others.
