23.01.2022 SENIOR LEAGUE / LITTLE LEAGUE For those teams playing at Boomerang Field tomorrow afternoon, the COVID-19 sign in station has been moved to Right Field of the main diamond (see attached map). Please ensure all players and spectators sign in on arrival.

Even though he wasn’t a Phoenix member, he was respected within the Newcastle baseball community....... People would have some good memories about Kenny..... feel free to share them with others.. 14.01.2022 Junior League Games at Windsor Thursday 22 October - players please report to the dugouts as indicated for sign in and sanitise with team official. All other officials, spectators and Phoenix players will sign in at the main sign in desk.

12.01.2022 Training and games this week COVID UPDATE As of the last game, more than 1 spectator may attend games. If you are bringing additional spectators, especially those that have not attended under COVID rules, please make them aware of the need to sign in and santise upon entry to the ground. If children are in attendance to spectate, please ensure they remain seated with parents/carers.... Physical distancing is still required amongst those that do not come from the same household, for example if grandparents are in attendance, but do not live in your household, then the 1.5m distance rule still applies. SETTING UP OF GROUNDS All Junior League games for the rest of the season will be at our home ground on a Thursday night. If you are available to help setup/packup after the game, your assistance would be appreciated. Volunteers are also welcome in the canteen - please be aware that you will be required to follow COVID procedures including wearing a face mask and gloves. Thank you to everyone who has assisted over the season already, it has been much appreciated. GAMES THIS WEEK Training continues on Wednesdays from 4.30pm - 6pm. Don't forget your mozzie spray prior to training. THURSDAY Junior League - play at Windsor (home) each Thursday. Arrive 4.30pm, play 5.30pm - 7.30pm. This week versus White Sox on the Junior field. Please note this season ends on 10 December. Don't have time for dinner on a Thursday night? A $2 sausage sizzle will operate at these games. FRIDAY Senior League: Teams will play at either Wallsend or Mayfield grounds each Friday. This week they are both at Hope St, Wallsend. Please note this season ends on 11 December. Phoenix versus White Sox/Phoenix at Wallsend. Arrive 4.30pm, play 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Little League Play at Boomerang Field, Industrial Drive, Mayfield West each week. Arrive 4.30pm, play 5.30pm - 7.15pm. This week versus Boomerangs on left field. Please note this season ends on 11 December. SUNDAY Tball/Zooka - playing at Plattsburg Park, Hope Street, Wallsend. Arrive from 9am to sign in and play at 9.30am - 11am. Please note the season for this age group ends on 29 November. We understand that with the move to weeknight games some families will have difficulties arriving on time for warmups trying to get from work and school. Please let myself or your coach know if this is your case so that we know your child will be in attendance. Have a great week of baseball.
