14.01.2022 Some positive news, here is a great excerpt from the article.... The ANZ Roy Morgan weekly consumer confidence index has risen consecutively for the past 9 weeks. At the week ending 31st of May, the index is 50.5% higher than when it bottomed out in late March. In fact, the index is now just 9% lower than when Australia confirmed its first case of coronavirus in January. That’s some very positive outlook.

06.01.2022 Australian Government Home Builder Stimulus Package $25,000 Grant for New Home Construction or Renovation to stimulate the Construction Industry in Australia What Does The Government’s Construction Package Mean For Property Investors?... The federal government’s $688 million dollar construction package will have a positive impact for investors. The package was created to support the building industry and boost the economy in the bounce back from the recent pandemic. Here’s our take on what this means for property investors. The key to this stimulus is: - for every $1 of government stimulus - a minimum of $6 of private investment must take place - it will create jobs in construction, supply chains, retail (white goods and soft furnishings) - it will support land prices keeping upward pressure on house prices - it is likely that titled land in some areas already will further increase will further - it should boost confidence across the economy from the additional jobs it creates with the building industry and associated industries - this will get money flowing through the economy once again.
