11.01.2022 Happy Horses's birthday. The 1st of August is a good reminder to start thinking about our good doer or founder prone ponies. Spring is around the corner, the days are getting longer YAY!!, coats are starting to shift and the daffodils are out. Is it time to start thinking about restricting pasture access and reducing or changing feed. It's also a good time to start thinking about preparing your pasture for the spring flush. Do paddocks need to be locked up, harrowed and improved?

11.01.2022 We hope to highlight in the coming months, some of the behind the scenes decisions Sue has made to produce the feeds and supplements the way Phoenix does. This series of pictures shows one of the reasons she has formulated the feeds to be fed in small amounts, the size of a horses stomach. The base feed rate - 100gs of feed per 100kg of horse weight.

05.01.2022 It’s spring time! The weather is a bit kinder for riding, the grass is growing and the days are getting longer. But that also means the constant rugs on and rugs off and horse hair everywhere- so much horse hair! Who has some pictures of the cool whorls, markings and colours of their horses? We would love to see them, post below.
