25.01.2022 Just a little update. Made the insert for these standalone LED crystals have a twist and lock fitting. The LED capsules really make things like this possible thanks to the small batteries and light contained in such a small package.

23.01.2022 Been keeping my printer busy overnight as often as I can to pump out this bad boy. It's a free file from Dragons Rest. It uses a clip system which is pretty satisfying and fun to 'click' together. Just got a few more parts to go and maybe need to reprint the cockpit. 22.01.2022 Secret weapon B.G.G.C! (Big Green Glowy Crystal) Too many projects going through my head currently and havent been happy with any ro see them to 100% ... This was a quick and easy thing though and feel silly for not having done this sooner. Perhaps have a nice pedastal made for it.

19.01.2022 Plenty on the go for some custom designs and batch printing for my etsy orders. Once again some more playing with LEDs.

19.01.2022 While working on terrain I realised that I will be needing some model bases to go with them. It's also a good way to practice detailing for the larger pieces. Finding that if I leave the majority of the top surface flat I can sand back the printing lines for a nicer finish. Also some clear bases to try out if they look better for jump infantry.

18.01.2022 Sorry its been a bit quiet on this page. Have been working on some small local design and print commissions and my own design projects have taken a backseat. When I do have a chance I have been printing this dragon designed by 'mini monster mayhem' and part of the Arcane Minis kickstarter. I think is has come out pretty well so far even though it's best done on a resin printer.

18.01.2022 The new previews have inspired me to get more into my custom 3d printed necron terrain I've been sitting on for a year now. I found in another group these balloon LEDs that can last up to 48 hours straight and are quite cheap thus solving a lighting issue I wanted in as much terrain that's reasonable. One day I hope to play a game with some bigger and better pieces. :)

15.01.2022 Not much to look at but just wanted to share one of the best uses of 3d printing. I helped out a local farmer save $200 by replicating and printing a replacement gear for his label guns. They are only 1 gram each so I made a whole bunch more to keep them going (just incase)

14.01.2022 It's been a crazy past 12 months. From getting the first 3d printer, improving my design and 3d modelling skills and then putting products out there I wouldnt expect how popular they'd be. 14.01.2022 This has been a long project to create this piece. Working with a customer in the US we have made a classic look necron power generator. This comes in a few parts which takes a bit over 72 hours for one machine to print. The Led strips are powered by a 3xAA battery pack and controlled by a remote. I've managed to squeeze everything in just perfect and i look forward to getting one of my own painted up and put on the battlefield :D :D :D

12.01.2022 The biggest and longest print ive done so far. Was asked to make one of my power cores 4 times as big. Decided to go for an iconic look on this one and test my printer's bed capacity. Luckily it came out looking as good as it did. 10.01.2022 Got the Dragon Crest by @TheDragonsRest finished up. It's a nice model and once I print a stand for it i will be gifting it to my mate who loves his spaceships :)

10.01.2022 Looking forward to the new 9th Ed preview. I have been working away a lot more lately on sketching and designing necron terrain i will put up on etsy once I'm happy. Still needs more polish but I'm happy how it's coming along. This turret base will have a few options to go on top but have mainly designed it to make use of the spare tesla weapons I have.

07.01.2022 Another recent request. Been playing with different filaments to make crystal scatter terrain. Turns out not everyone is a fan of you typical green. These have come out quite nice and just need to now work on a few different shapes and varieties.

07.01.2022 An update on whats been happening in the "Forge". Been working with customers to make terrain as requested and to which i can add to the range. More colours, obelisks, crystals and the biggest terrain soon to be printed the LED Mega Plasma Core. Cant wait to see it printed out :D

03.01.2022 Working with Beyond - Games and Hobby to get a tables worth of custom terrain ready for the the new edition. This is to go with their green glowy necro themed mat. Looking forward to seeing it painted up and being gamed with. Currently just have it dry fitted together and there is still more coming off the printer tonight :) so excited! Symbols and lights are all customizable so if you have something special in mind I can accommodate.

01.01.2022 Stuck with my potato phone tonight :/ trying out an LED strip on these bigger cores and i think they are showing good potential :) Still need to print a lense in blue for this one would look good in any colour.

01.01.2022 Bit of a photo dump today. Been hard at work getting the terrain orders done for the Aussie customers over the past week. Some custom designs, new prototypes and finding the best ways to paint clear filament. Also you can see the first terrain set on the new table sizes at the local hobby shop. Really fills out quicker now and I'm fast working adding more variety to this board like.the pictured barricade and then some area terrain.
