13.01.2022 Really great video from Running Reform on Load vs Capacity. Muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, etc. have a certain capacity. When load is greater than capacit...y there is an increased risk of injury. But capacity of muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, etc can change! If we overprotect or just rest the capacity reduces but if we gradually increase loading we can increase our capacity therefore reducing the risk of injury. You really need to understand each patient to understand the factors affecting their capacity and their current loading. See more
