24.01.2022 And we’re back for term 2! Our zoom classes are off to a strong start and it’s been an absolute joy seeing all our members logging into class! We have missed having you all in the studio physically, but being online has felt like we’re all back in the studio as normal! It’s been a blast. Bring on another fun afternoon online tomorrow!

22.01.2022 Physical Funk Online Classes Starting Monday 4th May PFDA Term 2 classes begin next Monday the 4th of May! We will be delivering these classes via the popular streaming service ‘Zoom’ and can’t wait to see you and dance with you all again! 12.01.2022 We would like to proudly introduce Miss Charlotte Connors to our teaching staff 2021. Miss Charlotte will be leading our Commercial Jazz/Hip Hop and we would like to welcome her to our PFDA Family with open arms. - Charlotte travels nation-wide as a dancer/performer, choreographer and teacher. She has trained with Australia’s best, as well as International artists including the (O’Neill Twins - Royal Family Dance Crew), (Ngavaine Tearea - Royal Fam), (Renee Ritchie SYTYCD A...US/Tmilly Studios LA) (Tokyo Kevin Inouye USA/Millennium Studios) and (Mollee Gray SYTYCD USA) From a young age she has competed nationally and in 2018 ticked off a bucket list opportunity by winning a trip at ‘World Supremacy Battlegrounds’ to represent Australia for the first time at Japan’s largest hip hop competition, Dance Delight. She has a strong passion for teaching and choreography of all aspects. Some of her commercial highlights include performing for artists Aston Wyld, Chase Atlantic and Briden-Starr. 12.01.2022 With everything that’s going on in the world! Today we went into the studio and cleaned from top to bottom with commercial grade products provided by B and B supplies. We love our students and families there health and welfare are our most important priority atm. We will keep you posted as to whether classes continue tomorrow? God bless and best wishes to all!! 08.01.2022 Hi to everyone in NSW. Glenda Yee and I have been in talks with Ausdance Nsw for their advice. While we are happy that studio doors can reopen on the 13th, we desperately need restrictions lifted further before dance studios can operate effectively and cover costs. To be heard by our Health Minister Brad Hazzard and our Premier Gladys Berejiklian, and all the relevant authorities, we need a lot of voices, unified with a single strong message. The best way to achieve this is f...or studio owners, teachers and their dance communities to email their local MP, Gladys Berejikllian and Brad Hazzard. I have written a form letter (https://docs.google.com//18SqmZmcXPbFfuVI7olGlV8Duc-/edit), which can be simply be copied and pasted into an email, or the contact forms on the websites for Gladys (https://www.nsw.gov.au/premier-of-nsw/contact-premier) and Brad (https://www.nsw.gov.au//minister-for-health-and-medical-re). The letter includes a link to the petition that I wrote a few weeks ago, which now has over 26,000 signatures! From the advice we have received we think this is the best and most effective course of action. Please take a moment to send the letter, because the more copies of this that they receive, the more attention it will get. And even more importantly, please take the time to reach out to your own dance studio community to ask them to do the same. The power of our network is strong when we unite together. To all our beautiful PFDA Families you’re support would be greatly appreciated:)

08.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS FOR PFDA We’ve been so busy behind the scenes organising some wonderful things for 2021! We are so excited to announce that as a part of our program’ Miss Ella will be leading our Lyrical contemporary and Acro conditioning classes, and is amazing at what she does!... Ella Driene is a contemporary dance artist and teacher currently based in Newcastle. She is a graduate of both Ev & Bow and New Zealand School of Dance where she learnt from some of Australia and NZ best choreographers. Whilst in New Zealand Ella performed as both a dancer and model for World of Wearable Arts in the 2018 season choreographed by Malia Johnston. This lead onto another performance in 2018 with Malia for the Armistice Day ceremony in Wellington., Ella has collaborated with Renata Commisso on her choreographic lab through Dirty Feet and performed a piece choreographed by Raewyn Hill as a part of the NZSD Graduation Season. More recently, Ella performed in Catapult Dance ‘Mixed Bill’ and was a guest performer in the end of year show for MILK Dance Studios. Ella has had the pleasure of teaching at dance studios all the way from Sydney to Newcastle as well as over in New Zealand. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from all over the world and she can’t wait to get moving again with a fresh group of beautiful dancers.

These lessons will allow students to stay sharp and maintain their progress in the comfort and safety of your own home.
