24.01.2022 Jenny, Craig and physio appointments are operating as usual with increased hygiene practices and social distancing procedures. JUDI is very happy to report she is back from Thailand although currently on home detention for 14 days.. it was a bit of a job getting home but she made it! So as far as classes go, Jen is covering all classes with stringent hygiene practices and applying strict distancing rules. ... We ask that you: Please don’t come to class if feeling unwell in any way.. Please don’t gather in the reception area and maintain social distance recommendations at all times Please allow extra time to enter and exit singularly Please continue to bring your own towel, socks and water bottle. You may bring/wear gloves if you wish. Please bring your best smile, these are tough times for all Please remember we care for you and are here to support you.. together we will get through this difficult time This is what quarantine looks like for Judi!! Maintaining Movement; walking around the garden, dancing to music, simple exercises and stretching, mindful movements focusing on big and small muscle groups MIND HEALTH..Maintaining good mental health; whilst it’s important to be informed about current advice, allow yourself to switch off from it too.. read a book, listen to podcasts or music, learn a new skill/online course, cook that recipe you haven’t had time to, sew or craft, sing, meditate, garden, sit with nature and observe your surroundings, phone a friend REST.. Maintain good resting habits; have a consistent routine for bedtime; listen to your body and rest when you need to; limit caffeine from late afternoon; aid digestion by eating a light evening meal; incorporate breathing techniques to relax Jenny & Craig are available for all your PHYSIO needs. Keep shoulder blades down and back (don’t let them hunch up to your ears) Work to your own limits .. if your back arches when legs up, rest and reset your abs before commencing Have fun!
