24.01.2022 Do you have unwanted soccer/football boots? I am collecting them to give to a group of children that are less fortunate. If you have any please drop them in to Physioedge at 74 Henley Beach Road. I would be very grateful!

23.01.2022 Great for developing both the physical and mental strength needed for sport and every day life.

22.01.2022 With the recent circumstances many people have taken to running, bike riding, and other outdoor activities. This obviously is fantastic to help physical fitness, however can lead to injuries when the body is not accustomed to such forces. If you have sustained an injury recently do not hesitate to come in for treatment and discuss injury prevention. We are abiding by all the appropriate safety measures with regular sanitising and social distancing.

21.01.2022 Winners! Div 1 winter doubles - how awesome is it to still be playing with girls from juniors and now seniors. Go Glenlea!

19.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day from Physioedge. A beautiful morning to go for a run along the esplanade with all seasons in one day. We hope you are finding ways to keep active.

17.01.2022 There may not be any marathons running but you can push yourself to keep training. Beautiful crisp mornings with no wind are perfect conditions for an early morning or late evening run. Even I needed a beanie and long sleeves. Let’s keep up the momentum through winter.

14.01.2022 Day 21/25 of 25/25 challenge. Today a pre-work push-up session. Thanks Lynette Pearl. Today I am nominating Dave Lewis who has developed The Raw Program and works with athletes in performance coaching including not only the physical conditioning as well as working with the mindset. http://www.therawprogram.com... Speaking from experience he’s had a very positive outcome with people that he has trained. Dave your challenge is: 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to raise awareness for anxiety, depression and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), that is so debilitating and can lead to devastating consequences. The rules are simple: *Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day. *Every day you record yourself doing 25 push-ups, even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25. Knees are totally fine!! *Every day you must nominate a different person. Let's reach as many people as possible. Let's hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness; you are not alone and we are here for you. Don't be afraid to ask for help! You are loved.

07.01.2022 Day 25/25. Finally I’m done! Loved it thanks Lynette Pearl. Today I’m not going to post my video for all of you to suffer through again, but to take the opportunity to say how blessed we are to live in this gorgeous city at this tough time around the rest of the world. Let’s continue to push ourselves physically whether it be going for a run, walk, SUP or other, let’s remember how this will give a positive effect for your mental health. So today as a laugh I nominate my dog, Toby.

04.01.2022 Dementia is close to my heart, now being two and a half years since dad passed. As a health professional we must continue to work as advocates for health promotion. Physiotherapists can offer a variety of strengthening, mobility and balance exercises to ensure clients keep as functional and independent as they age. We know that keeping physically, mentally and socially active are all important to reduce our risk of dementia.

01.01.2022 Let’s keep enjoying the beautiful crisp evenings. Awesome running/walking/cycling conditions.
