23.01.2022 Our clinic is now offering Telehealth appointments. Please call or email the clinic for a Physiotherapy appointment via Telehealth. https://www.standard.net.au//health-clinics-switch-to-ph/

22.01.2022 Dear Physio Freedom Customers, We are continuing to provide first class Physiotherapy Services to all our clients, and at this stage it is business as usual. I thought I would share with you some measures we are taking to protect you, as well as our employees. Naturally we are balancing the needs of our customers against the spread of the coronavirus. However, the below actions will hopefully put your mind at ease:... SANITATION All our staff have ramped up their already excellent hygiene standards. This includes use of extra hygienic face pads, regular disinfecting of all high touch surfaces and the use of tap and go where possible. Our cleaning staff are taking extra care to make sure the clinic is spotless and naturally we are trying to keep on top of hand sanitizer products for all people entering and leaving the building. WAITING ROOM ARRANGEMENTS We are doing our best to support social distancing. This means the provision of waiting room chairs outside (provided the weather is agreeable!) or the option of people waiting in their car for the Therapist to collect them. Please let Reception know you have arrived! EMPLOYEES HEALTH Naturally our staff would self-isolate if they exhibited symptoms of COVID-19. In-spite of the wonderful multicultural backgrounds of our staff at Physio Freedom, no-one has been overseas in recent times. We are monitoring daily the advice handed down by the Australian Government and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. In closing, I would ask that you all continue to support local small businesses. Please consider these points: 1) If your child’s sport has recently been cancelled, do not automatically cancel their Physiotherapy appointment. Now is the BEST time to follow through with that rehab program to ensure that they are good to go when things get back to normal. 2) With approximately 10-12 patients passing through our Physiotherapy treatment rooms daily, our clinic is relatively speaking low risk when compared with the likes of a supermarket or petrol station who may have thousands of people passing through daily. We look forward to seeing you in our clinic soon and will continue to remain open as long as it is safe to do so. Please continue to support us and stay well. Clif Watt and all the Staff at Physio Freedom.

22.01.2022 We are experiencing some phone problems this morning, please bear with us while we try to get it sorted. Thankyou.

19.01.2022 All staff at Physio Freedom would ask any patients who have travelled to Melbourne recently or been in contact with people from Melbourne hotspots to refrain from attending our clinic for at least 2 weeks. This will ensure the safety of all our staff and enable us to stay open during these challenging times. We thank you for your understanding.

18.01.2022 Some of our amazing team members, signing up to help others. I signed up to be a physio to help improve people's quality of life and although this is a very different and serious situation, I'd want to do anything I can to help - Sarah Richards

15.01.2022 As per the Victorian Government advice, all therapists at Physio Freedom will now be wearing face masks whilst treating. It is also recommended that you, the patient wears some sort of face covering. This can include either a reusable/disposable mask or scarf. We would appreciate your compliance on this matter for all of our safety.

12.01.2022 To our valued Physio Freedom customers, All staff at Physio Freedom are taking extra steps to provide a safe and clean environment within our Physiotherapy clinics. Perhaps the most important link in this chain is you, the customer. Please, if you have any flu like symptoms, have traveled overseas in the past 2 weeks or have been in contact with someone who is ill and/or have a history of travel, we ask that you re-schedule your appointment with us. In the meantime we will continue to provide excellent care, following the guidelines issued by the Australian Government. Thank you.

12.01.2022 Have you downloaded the COVIDSafe tracing app? At Physio Freedom we have, and we recommend it! 11.01.2022 To all loyal physio Freedom patients, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Physio Freedom will be closing its doors for face to face consultations as of 6 p.m., Friday the 27th of March. This decision has been made in an effort to stop the spread of the Coronavirus within our country as quickly as we can. We will still be offering appointments via telehealth and I encourage anyone requiring this to phone the clinic. If the phone is not answered, PLEASE leave your de...tails and we will endeavour to call you back within the next couple of hours. For those of you who are not too tech-savvy, it is extremely easy, our friendly staff will guide you through the process. If you don't wish to have video involvement, we can do an assessment and give valuable advice over a good old landline! For any patients who have appointments scheduled for face to face consultation (Physiotherapy or Pilates) beyond 27th of March, please call reception to cancel your appointment and advise if you would like the physiotherapist to follow up with you via telehealth. Once again, I apologize to one and all for this decision. Be reassured that we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so but we feel we need to do our bit to help the whole world halt the spread of Coronavirus. Thank you for your understanding and stay well. Clif Watt and all the staff from Physio Freedom

07.01.2022 Phones are now working! We will try to return any missed calls. Thank you.Phones are now working! We will try to return any missed calls. Thank you.

05.01.2022 Physio Freedom is reopening! Physio Freedom Warrnambool and Hamilton will be reopening on Monday 11th of May 2020. The health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and you, our patients is of primary importance. Hence there will be some noticeable changes to help to try to control the spread of COVID-19.... We will have a maximum of 2 therapists on at any given time to allow for social distancing. We ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment and please wash your hands on arrival. Payment should be done by tap and go where possible. Therapists may wear gloves and masks for everybody’s protection. They will continue with stringent sanitizing, cleaning between each patient and may moderate the amount of hands on within a treatment in line with the current situation. We ask that the elderly and immuno-suppressed refrain from coming into the clinic unless absolutely necessary. If Telehealth is working for you then please continue with this safe option. If you would like to make an appointment, please call Warrnambool: (03) 5500 5271 or Hamilton: (03) 5571 9157. We look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon. We will be monitoring the situation closely and will adapt according. Clif Watt and the Physio Freedom Team.

05.01.2022 I grew up in Camperdown before moving to Melbourne and studying physiotherapy. There I took an interest in paediatrics and low back pain. Since graduating I have returned to Warrnambool and now, enjoy working with patients who complete their ‘exercises’. My hobbies include netball, surfing and footy. I am also partial to a good brunch. Anna is available for appointments in Warrnambool.

03.01.2022 This week has been a bit of a rollercoaster but we’d like to wish Michelle all the best for her maternity leave!! Unfortunately we aren’t sure when we will all be back but we’ve had some fun together l

02.01.2022 We want to let you know that we are committed to staying open during these Stage 3 restrictions while ever it is safe to do so. Back in March when COVID really kicked off in our region WE made the decision to close our doors for 5 weeks. This was mainly because we could not source the necessary items to keep you safe. We were unable to get wipes, hand sanitizer, face pads etc and we felt we may have been a risk to the community. As you know, since our closure we have made man...y changes to improve your safety. These changes, combined with an ongoing supply of all safety equipment and supplies - including face masks- means we are confident that we can provide a safe environment for you to access treatment. One of the biggest changes over the last 4 months has been the community understanding of Corona Virus and how to best combat it. Patients are attending appointments by themselves, wearing masks, socially distancing and sanitizing on entry. We want to THANK YOU all for these efforts and ask that you continue. We also ask that you reschedule your appointment should you exhibit any COVID symptoms or have been in contact with anyone from a cluster area. Thanks again and we hope to remain open through these difficult times to help keep you fit, healthy and pain free.
