20.01.2022 Tomorrow night it's 1986. The year of the highest selling Aus album in history, the year Alf and Neighbours hit our screens, the last time Queen toured, when Tommy Lee and Heather Locklear had the biggest hair wedding of all time.

20.01.2022 This week will be the final Physique Aerobics class. Two years ago the idea was sparked by this incredible scene (http://goo.gl/Rp8Zq) from the John Travolta, Jamie Lee Curtis 1985 aerobics flick Perfect (thanks Abbie Davis!). To see if aerobics was as fun as it looked, we visited Suzi at Lee Town's gym in Narre Warren who was still running her original 80s class . It was. The idea came into being thanks to the financial support of the Awesome Foundation Sydney who liked... the idea of creating a workout that didn't follow in the same footsteps of a typical gym session. Shannon took charge in Sydney and Alicia in Melbourne, the girls designing authentic freestyle aerobics classes that varied every week both in music and moves. No mean feat.. Two of many highlights: When 130 people in lycra packed into the PCYC for our mega aerobics class to give us the true feeling of the 80s. And when Channel 7 put 8mins of our thrusting moves to air during Sunrise (http://goo.gl/j7lmru). Thank you to everyone who has donned the lycra and sweated with us. If you'd like to come one more time, class is this Tuesday at 7pm. For the first time, I will be taking the madonna head set (along with some friends) to call the moves. 19.01.2022 Jill is awarded best dressed this week by our outgoing aerobics superstar Lisa and it's not hard to see why. Fantastic multicoloured leotard, 80s yellow zip through, shimmer tights all tied together nicely with the red leg warmers.
