Whilst we certainly have nothing against veganism or being vegan in fact we actually coach quite a few clients who are. We thought we needed to put together a post to clear a few things up. ... 20.01.2022 A little over 6 weeks ago @lincolnfotomedia came in and told us he had been suffering with some major shoulder mobility issues caused by a skateboard accident. Now treating and working with shoulder issues isnt out of the ordinary for us, but the big difference was, that Lincoln had already booked a huge surfing trip in Indonesia which was 4 weeks away. At this stage he wasnt even able to put his t-shirt on without aggravation let alone paddle on his board ! With some careful rehab and strength work applyed over the short amount of time he was able to get back in those barrels and rip it up in Indonesia ! Great work Linc keep it up shredder. 19.01.2022 Strength is often undervalued amongst the older population. Many believe as they get older that they must slow down and a brisk walk is enough to keep their body in check. This couldn't be further from the truth. As we age our bone density decreases and muscles atrophy, unless they are regularly trained/strengthened. 12.01.2022 8 Week Winter Challengers! Alright everyone the numbers are in for the best male and female results from the challenge. Firstly, I’d like to say congratulations to everyone who finished the challenge, there were some cold mornings and tough sessions amongst those 8 weeks but you pulled through!... Everyone should give themselves a massive pat on the back for the amount of effort you have put in, not only inside the gym but outside in the kitchen keeping on top of your nutrition. Collectively out of the 4 challenge finishers they lost a total of 14% body fat and a massive total loss of 130cms off their body measurements. The Challengers gained some solid strength and muscle which was shown through their vast improvements on the fitness and strength tests. So, without further delay your Male Winner is Matt Lowe Matt lost a total of 2.7% body fat and 2.6kg which is a great result given he was 76kg to start. Matt also lost an overall total of 34.5cms off his body measurements. Looking lean matt, congratulations! Our Female Winner is Morwenna Bell Wen lost a massive 5.8% body fat and 1kg body weight which is great because she has now swapped that unwanted fat for some much earned muscle which by the way looks great on Wen. All this is backed up by a total of 33cms lost around her body. Both Winners will receive a $50 gift voucher to Sugar Me Baby and a $100 gift voucher with us at Physiqueology to use with Personal Training. Well done once again everyone, and remember this is just the beginning keep training hard and the results will keep coming!

11.01.2022 Hi everyone, Our Client Debbie Moore’s son, Joel Moore and his wife Terri Moore are on their way cycling across Canada to raise funds for cancer research. If you wish to donate or follow them you can. The donation site is convio.cancer.ca/goto/balzac-to-dildo and to follow them search @gooseandroo in Facebook or Instagram. It should take them 4 months and will cover over 7500km. So far they’ve completed 4 days, 1 summit climb and over 300km. Still a long way to go!!

09.01.2022 Give your Glutes some love ! Do you know how to switch on your Glutes (Gluteus Maximus)? The Gluteus Maximus is the largest muscle in the human body, it’s located in your buttocks. Dormant/Weak Glutes can contribute to back pain, poor hip range/mobility and poor posture.... A simple exercise which you can do at home to switch on your glutes is a Glute Bridge. This will help you start to connect the dots to that major muscle. Check out the video below and give it a try for yourself. Exercise Tips: Screw heels into the floor Drive Knees out Keep your chin on your chest Pivot off your upper back Squeeze your Bum cheeks together at the peak of the movement and hold for 2-5 seconds Repeat for 3 sets of 15 and feel the burn

This doesn't happen over night, Pete's Consistency and Workrate is second to none ! Just as Pete says "you don't stop training because you get old, you get old because you stop training"

03.01.2022 5 YEARS IN BUSINESS Can you believe last month marked 5 Years in Business for us? Five years ago, we stepped in as absolute rookies from Orange NSW. With personal training experience but no experience in running a business. What we thought would be a breeze turned out to be a cyclone at first when we realised all the extra things and challenges small business owners have to do and face on top of their job. ... There has certainly been plenty of highs and lows, however looking back on it now we both agree we wouldn’t change a thing. We have certainly learnt a lot and continue to grow stronger each day because of it. Plenty of curveballs were thrown but we stuck to our guns and continued to chase our dream. Time sure has flown and it’s easy to get caught up in things. From what started in a small training studio which is now about the size of our current reception, it’s not until we took the time to step back did we truly realise what has been achieved and just how far we have come. Of course, we must take the time to thank our family and close friends who have backed us throughout this journey and continue to do so. Last but certainly not least all of this would not have been possible without our Clients who we are very proud to call our family. A lot of which who have been with us from day one. It is our clients who make this one of the best jobs in the world, there is nothing like helping someone achieve a goal which they may have previously thought impossible. Personal Training allows us to work with people from all sorts of different backgrounds and walks of life. The things we have learnt and times we have shared with our clients are invaluable and something we cherish. There has been many transformations and lives changed for the better, plenty of dreams achieved and so many laughs along the way.
