23.01.2022 I neutrals Who else loves neutrals? These cute little hearts will be coming up in my NAIDOC release soon. What should I do with them? Studs, dangles, tassels? I do have some big silky brown and black tassels which would look great, but want to know what you’d prefer. They’re about 23 x 23mm so not huge- the perfect stud size or a good size to pair with other components for dangles. ... 10.01.2022 Voting time! Opinions please! I’m prototyping my Christmas wreaths and can’t decide which I like best yet. The bottom one is a collage of tiny flowers cut from painted pieces, and I’m not sure how this will go with resin yet. It might end up with way too many bubbles and be a real pain to resin, but I’ll give it a go. ... 08.01.2022 Here’s a little something I painted a couple of months ago and have just realised I haven’t shown you the full piece. This is my second ever piece of aboriginal art I have painted, and I painted it for my mum and dad. It depicts their story, their love for wandering around this beautiful country, their move from Tassie and things they love. I haven’t been able to give it to them yet - because, Covid - so cannot wait for that day! ... There’s so much heart, soul and tears (I miss my parents) that have gone into this painting.
