21.01.2022 Piawaning Expo Drum Muster will be up and running soon down at the Piawaning grounds. Start saving those drums to get ready for drop off. All money raised from the Drum Muster goes back into the community towards the artwork that will be getting done on the Piawaning Silos.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone we hope you are all safe and well and managing through these crazy times we have been having lately. Things have been pretty quiet on the Expo front lately due to Covid19 and the uncertaintity it has caused with a lot of things. We are still waiting to see if this years Piawaing Expo and the celebrations for Piawanings 100th centenary will be able to go ahead but will keep everyone updated as soon as we know.

20.01.2022 For anyone wanting to join in with our Vic Plains Shire Australia Day celebrations and for some brekky, get on down to the Bolgart Sports Club (follow your nose of those yummy BBQ smells). Big thanks to the Bolgart Progress Association.

19.01.2022 Hi everyone. We have unfortunately had to cancel/postpone our meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow night. There is still some other government regulations in place due to Covid19, so we just have to sort those out first. We will let everyone know via email and on Facebook when our next meeting will be scheduled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

15.01.2022 From everyone at the Piawaning Expo we hope you all had a great day celebrating our wonderful country and enjoyed the long weekend (& survived the weather). We had a few of our members representing the Piawaning Expo at the Victoria Plains Australia Day breakfast and awards ceremony at Bolgart on Sunday. We would love to thank not only all of our committee members involved, but every single person that supported the 2019 Expo as we were awarded the Victoria Plains Coomunity Event Of The Year Award. And our wonderful president David Hall, won Victoria Plains Community Citizen Of The Year Award. Huge well done David and very well deserved and great that all of your efforts to be bringing more into our community are recognised and appreciated.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone. After lots of discussions with everyone involved, we have come to the decision that the Piawaning Expo will not go ahead this year. Due to many, many regulations around COVID not only within the Expo itself, but a lot of our stall holders, entertainment and trade space holders aswell, we have decided that to be able to put on a good day for everyone we are postponing our Piawaning 100th celebration until next year. We thank everyone for their support and understanding in this, and look forward to seeing you all next year for a wonderful day!

14.01.2022 Huge big thank you to the wonderful generosity from the CBH Grass Roots Fund accepting our grant application and generously donating $1000 towards the organisational costs of the Piawaning Expo for our Expo next year. Without the support of others we would not be able to put this on for everyone in the community and beyond! The generosity and support of our CBH Group for community funding, projects and supporting our regional/rural areas is fabulous to see.
