22.01.2022 Volunteering with us is truly a family affair! This week, we were lucky to have three generations of Mackay family coming together to support the railway. The late Malcolm Mackay, foundation member and Honorary Life Member, was the first of the family to volunteer in 1973 and their commitment is still as strong as ever. Year upon year, for 47 years and counting. While the scenery and our steam trains may be the icons that people come to see, it's our volunteers that make it possible. 15.01.2022 We regret to announce that this Saturday’s Sundowner Explorer service has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 measures announced by the state government today. All passengers booked with us will be contacted directly regarding their booking. An announcement regarding the service scheduled for 28 November will be made when there is further advice from the Government concerning the duration and extent of the current lockdown. Despite this setback for the last two weeks of our 2020 running season, we are thrilled with the support shown to us and regional South Australia while conditions permitted - thankyou. We are already excited for 2021 and cannot wait to see you all again in the new year!
