25.01.2022 Feeling hungry? Dame's litter, our first batch of home-bred and grown piglets, are just about ready for the plate. The last lot we grew out were truly delicious, and we expect these to be even better given their happy upbringing entirely here on Kalang. They were even heavier than we'd estimated when we weighed them a few days ago, so we'll have a couple of the bigger ones to be ready for market in the next couple of weeks. The carcasses will weigh around 45kg whole (or aroun...d 22/23kg for a side) plus-or-minus. The price is $15 a kilo. butcher-packed to your specification and delivered between Tenterfield and Stanthorpe. Please message us if you're interested. More will be ready in coming weeks, so also let us know if you wish to be alerted when they become available.

24.01.2022 After several horrible cold windy days, Patch’s new batch of fat babies are enjoying getting out to sunbathe. They’re three days old, so this is the first nice day they’ve seen.

18.01.2022 Finally! After D-A-Y-S of waiting Beauty has finally started producing her litter. Only five so far, hopefully more on the way but she seems pretty happy with herself.

17.01.2022 Ever see a pig skipping for joy? The growers moved onto a new paddock yesterday, and they were lovin’ it.

10.01.2022 UPDATE: FRESH MEAT WILL BE READY FOR DELIVERY THIS COMING WEEK, CURED (HAM AND BACON) THE WEEK AFTER. More delicious Pick of the Day Pork is on its way, and it could be landing on your table. You can also opt to turn it into ham and bacon if you wish. The fresh meat is tender and delectable and the cured option is fantastic (spoils you for the supermarket stuff).... The meat is all from free-range high-welfare pigs raised on the family farm just up the road at Jennings, so enjoy this local fare so close to the source. Let us know if you want a full or half carcass set aside. Cost is $15 a kilo carcass weight, plus $2.50 a kilo if you're going down the ham/bacon route, all cut and packed to your requirements and delivered to your door (Tenterfield/Stanthorpe).

08.01.2022 Being a mum is hard work, as Beauty is discovering with 11 hungry mouths to feed. Yes she wasn’t even halfway when we found her with five little newborns the other day. She went on to have six more, and they’re all thriving.

It's 24.5kg (so let's say 24) and $360, cut and packed to your requirements and delivered to your door next Wednesday (or otherwise by arrangement).
