19.01.2022 Its been a big year for the clinic! Thank you wollondilly community for making me feel so welcome in the new premises in Tahmoor. Thank you all at the picton family medical centre for keeping excellent communication, Tahmoor pharmacy 4 less for always stocking our favourite lumbar support braces, and south east radiology Tahmoor for many times going out of your way to help patients out. THank you everyone for giving feedback and being so supportive of local business! Im looking forward to next year :) ps. The kids corner looks even better than before with that special Swedish touch, yes?

19.01.2022 Some tips for good posture.

18.01.2022 World Health Organisation's new recommendations of physical exercise for small children. Recommendations at a glance: Infants (less than 1 year) should:... Be physically active several times a day in a variety of ways, particularly through interactive floor-based play; more is better. For those not yet mobile, this includes at least 30 minutes in prone position (tummy time) spread throughout the day while awake. Not be restrained for more than 1 hour at a time (e.g. prams/strollers, high chairs, or strapped on a caregivers back). Screen time is not recommended. When sedentary, engaging in reading and storytelling with a caregiver is encouraged. Have 1417h (03 months of age) or 1216h (411 months of age) of good quality sleep, including naps. Children 1-2 years of age should: Spend at least 180 minutes in a variety of types of physical activities at any intensity, including moderate-to-vigorous-intensity physical activity, spread throughout the day; more is better. Not be restrained for more than 1 hour at a time (e.g., prams/strollers, high chairs, or strapped on a caregivers back) or sit for extended periods of time. For 1-year-olds, sedentary screen time (such as watching TV or videos, playing computer games) is not recommended. For those aged 2 years, sedentary screen time should be no more than 1 hour; less is better. When sedentary, engaging in reading and storytelling with a caregiver is encouraged. Have 11-14 hours of good quality sleep, including naps, with regular sleep and wake-up times. Children 3-4 years of age should: Spend at least 180 minutes in a variety of types of physical activities at any intensity, of which at least 60 minutes is moderate- to vigorous intensity physical activity, spread throughout the day; more is better. Not be restrained for more than 1 hour at a time (e.g., prams/strollers) or sit for extended periods of time. Sedentary screen time should be no more than 1 hour; less is better. When sedentary, engaging in reading and storytelling with a caregiver is encouraged. Have 1013h of good quality sleep, which may include a nap, with regular sleep and wake-up times.

16.01.2022 The clinic is up and running; I am back from maternity leave :) It's a bit booked up at the moment, because I'm not working that many days to start with. I've got kids to relate to. Shoot me an email or message me here and I might be able to expand the hours with a bit of notice. #chiropractic #wollondilly #lovelocalwollondilly

12.01.2022 Today the clinic is closed due to bushfires. Please stay safe everyone!

11.01.2022 This is how chiropractors see the situation right now! many of us are now working from home, but without the ergonomic office set-up. setting up a simple alarm on the computer ensures you take a break to unwind and re-energise the body.

10.01.2022 Bending, lifting, vacuuming, lawn mowing, making the bed. It's the simple things our bodies do every day, that we take for granted - such as carrying grocery bags. call the clinic 02 46830754. The kids will have to pull their weight for a bit.

10.01.2022 THanks everyone for coming out to the seminar last night- stay well with mobility and flexibility! One a different note, the clinic just received the dilly drought tin - lets help the farmers with food, water and bales of hay even when the rain drops start falling.

08.01.2022 Take a second to look at this great local initiative - how cute are the Teddys?! the knitting/crocheting group meet every Monday at Tahmoor Inn between 10am-2pm and make knitted Teddys and rabbits for children who need it most :) if you're interested in joining, or can donate clean wool/stuffing, contact Victoria [email protected] .

06.01.2022 Tag someone who uses too many pillows Is yours too high? Too low? Or just right? You spend 6-8 hours per day on your pillow, so make sure its the right one f...or you. Walters Chiropractic Tip: Choose a pillow with a contoured edge to help keep your spine straight. #soreneck #chirocanhelp #walterschiropractic #gonstead #headache #neckpain #pillow #sleep #neck #chiropractic

04.01.2022 Don't forget to look after yourselves in times like these. When the frozen veggies are gone, eat more fresh ones. No meat? Lentils and pulses are great and last a long time in the cupboards as well as in the tummy. Nuts and dried fruit are great snacks. The weather is beautiful. Take a full breath and enjoy the weather; nature is transitioning to autumn and it's beautiful outside.

04.01.2022 Our amazing spine.

01.01.2022 Do you want this for your child. Come in and let us help.
