24.01.2022 Im loving the background texture of this new portrait im working on. This is Pearl, she sadly passed away, but hopefully this lovely portrait captures a cheeky sparkle in her eyes. Working on the finer features and lots more in the background to finish off....stay tuned.

13.01.2022 Black dogs are the hardest to paint!...well thats my experience anyway. The shine on the coat, making one black tone slightly darker than another, the small highlights perfectly placed to reflect the light. This one was a challenge, but Luna's enchanting Amber eyes were staring back at me the whole time i was painting.
