We thought wed put a short list together of some things you could try too! ... Remember your reusables: Youve hopefully got use to taking bags to the grocery store, but what else could help you cut out single use? A keep-cup or a container for your takeaway lunch perhaps? Go bamboo: A plastic toothbrush you used as a child is still somewhere on this earth right now and will be long after youre gone. Theres heaps of items you could buy bamboo! Buy secondhand: Its easier on the earth if we use what we already have! Next time you need something, try looking for it second-hand - youre pockets will probably benefit from this too! Start a compost: Did you know organic waste like food scraps produces methane in landfill? Composts are a great alternative, and your garden will love the fertiliser! Eat less meat: the production of meat undoubtably impacts our environment. 08.01.2022 Social media is a great tool because of the way it allows you to reach and interact with your audience. But first, you need to know your audience! Start by looking into data from your current customers, and writing up your ideal target audience personas. Then have a look into your current social media audience using insight tools. You should be considering information like; demographics, location, preferences and interests.... With all of this information you will be able to determine: Who you are reaching online, and if its your target audience Where you are failing to reach your target audience, and opportunities to reach them better What type of messaging has been effective in the past, and ways to improve audience engagement in the future Your analytics tools (like Facebook and Instagram insights) are your best friend when it comes to getting to know your audience, but dont forget to actually interact with them too!
