We recommend piiq at every station to see it work at its best, but it has been designed to be flexible so you can move your guests between stations and use it on multiple guests.... 2. What if I can only afford one? Will it work in my salon? piiq works out to cost about $1 per guest if you use it on everyone. And if it increases your average ticket price with extra services and retail sales, then it more than pays for itself. 3. Can I try before I buy? You can try piiq for yourself at your local L'Oreal Academy or get in touch with us and we can arrange a demo for you. 4. Does someone come to set up piiq? We have designed piiq so that it is easy for you to put together yourself, and we send you step-by-step guides that you can follow. 5. Is it easy to put together? Yes! piiq has been designed to be easy and quick to assemble. You will receive all the necessary training, including instructional guides and step-by-step tutorial videos so you can easily assemble piiq yourself. 6. How long does it take to get piiq shipped to me? 06.01.2022 Digital consultation platform Piiq has partnered with L’Oréal Professional Products Division to create a simple way for salons to continue to earn retail revenu...e during the current downturn. The initiative called ‘Support Your Salon’ helps salons to connect with their clients online 24/7 to provide a tailored digital consultation and recommend a personalised and professional haircare routine for them to use at home. The routine can be purchased online and delivered to their door with your salon receiving 40% of the proceeds from every sale. How it works is simple: 1. Sign up to receive a unique URL that can be sent to your clients via email, SMS message or by adding to a link to the salon’s social media bio. 2. Your client clicks on the link and they will be taken through a professional consultation, powered by piiq. Your client gets a recommendation for a haircare regimen which they can purchase online. 3. Once they purchase, the order is shipped direct to the client from the brand and your salon receives 40% of the proceeds from each sale. Richard Kavanagh, founder of piiq said the platform is a way for clients to support salon business, salon customers can continue to support their favourite salon even if the salon is closed. To qualify, salons must stock Kérastase, L’Oréal Professionnel, Redken, Pureology, Matrix or Biolage retail. With the view of supporting as many salons as possible, non-L’Oréal salons are also eligible to join the initiative, by stocking any of the aforementioned brands (except Kérastase).
