25.01.2022 Here’s my take on veganism, meat and why I’ve never watched and will not watch these movies documentaries that exaggerate and discount food groups! These docu...mentaries and movies on these topics always fail on the big major reasons for change and the major reasons they fail are. Most of it has not been researched. You can have good sources or protein from plants, meats and dairy and be healthy this is truth. Truth also says a varied diet is best one that contains lots of variety fruits and vegetables including protein carbohydrates which may include meat but ones that are close to the source and vegetables more raw if possible close to the source means local but also perhaps ethical and sustainable so growing your own , or food markets , farms in your area or especially country of origin ethical could mean organic or also grass fed beef free range chickens etc . You are not a bad person for eating meat you are not unhealthy if you do either. A person who has chosen vegetarian or vegan lifestyle similarly is not a bad person . However you are a bad person if you’re promoting video content or lifestyle choices that discriminate against one or other and tell lies about something that doesn’t actually have the research to back it. 24.01.2022 Green lipped NZ Mussels: celery, spring onions, garlic sautéed in olive oil and butter! Butter makes the pot so creamy and tasty. Season to taste Purchase the mussels from woolies, they are snap frozen fresh . Absolutely yum !

24.01.2022 VEGE CURRY RECIPE DETAILS INGREDIENTS IN ORDER 1. Olive oil , 50grms butter 3 Hot little red chillies seeds and all 2. Spring onion, garlic, celery, turmeric , ginger, cardomom, mustard hot eng two tspns , curry powder four tablespns , curry leaves two or three , capsicum, onion... 3. Chilli paste two tspns 4. Lentils( I soaked mine overnight)drain and soak for half hr...1cp / split peas too half / half 5. All your other veges diced I put these in order, carrots zucchini corn and pumpkin METHOD Sauté number 1 -3 till tender, and you have an aroma Add the lentils mix through let it break down a bit more Add the veges in order You need the colours to brighten up your curry . Lentils tend be brown and rancid looking not very appealing so add your coloured veges as much as you want for flavour and eye popping eating. Omit the chilli and or mustard if you’re not a fan! Skim the froth. Again don’t let your food look less appealing do everything to make it taste and look good too. We need fat for our brains so don’t cut fat out completely brain function is important olive oils and butter go well for Vege dishes this will serve 10-12 people or allow you to have it for several nights . Go hard and serve with roti or and rice of your choice , whole grain rice goes well with curries try different things and let me know how you go! @ Pilates 101, Northern Gold Coast

22.01.2022 Chia and oat Birchers Muesli.. I make this with coconut water , almonds, dates and a little honey . It goes in the fridge I make it in bulk to last for 5 days . So easy and means you’re set for the working week.

12.01.2022 Pumpkin, Leek and Lentil Soup a meal in itself. Onion , Nutmeg and mixed spice , Salt and pepper some Vege stock in water to fill to just cover the vegetables ... Sauté spices in butter and olive oil , add the onion and lentils garlic and ginger then the pumpkin and leek Cook for a couple of hours for best results Serve with Rice or crusty bread , or a flat bread of your choice !
