23.01.2022 Just finished up a post natal one on one zoom with a lovely mum this morning. Please remember that this journey is your journey. You are unique, your story is yours and only yours .... Just like each child has their own personality so does each post partum journey. Take the pressure off yourself. Listen to your body. Tune in to what it’s trying to tell you, whether that’s slow down mumma or come on time to pick it up and get strong again. Not sure where to start with your fitness journey? 22.01.2022 It’s Wunda Chair Wednesday! You can run but you can’t hide...! The thing about the Wunda Chair is that it shows up all your weakness. You can’t cheat your way through a Chair workout like you possible could on the Reformer ... I love this Washer Woman 2 followed by Happy Puppy. The challenge is to keep the pelvis stacked over the heels throughout, the legs still like one long column of strength while the spine moves freely from flexion to extension. Definitely wakes up those sleep hamstrings and upper back muscles! Do you do Washer Woman in your workouts?

19.01.2022 Mums’s check out these incredible results only 21 days apart! It’s never too late to heal your abs after baby! This lovely mum was struggling. ... She had been following a programme her physio had given her for a whole 12 months every single day trying to close her seperation, with no results We trouble shooted what she was currently doing, what needed to be done differently and after only 3 weeks look at the difference! Her waist measurement is down 1.5cm and her seperation around her belly button has gone from 3 fingers to her 2.5 Still some work to do but I think you’ll agree that’s incredible result so far! 19.01.2022 Happy New Year lovelies! I hope you are all enjoying the summer and busy making amazing memories with your families! I have oersoanally been loving the holidays a bit too much ... Spending time at the beach... Reading... Getting lots of cuddles with my fur baby Shadow and new kitten Apollo Pic of them for attention Anyways, emails were sent out to you all at the end of December re time slots for next year. If you haven’t gotten back to me yet please do do ASAP as I am finalising the timetable this week. 17.01.2022 Mums, your fittest, healthiest, strongest days are NOT behind you... You just need to decide what it is you want, get the right plan and the right coach who has done it themselves and execute like a boss... This does not mean you have to ... stop eating your favourite foods for the rest of your life obsessively count calories and macros smash the crap out of your body with long crazy workouts every day do a zillion sit ups and crunches to get your abs back and core strong For most mums getting the basics right is enough to feel great, get strong again and look amazing. Whether you are a couple of months or 15 years post partum it’s never too late to be your best self ever. Have questions about where to start? Don’t be like 80% of the population whose new years resolutions are down the toilet by mid-feb...... The key is to create healthy habits that will serve you for the rest of your life...!!! There are no shortcuts to health. No quick fixes... Ask yourself what small ( like teeny tiny, no brainer it’s already done) habit can you implement today to move you closer toward your goal? Then do the dam thing... Again and again and again and again .... THAT is the road to the BEST YOU! 07.01.2022 #techniquetuesday So we love a good plank in our workouts So many exercises require you to be able to do a plank.... think push ups, burpees, mountain climbers, Longstretch on the Reformer and so on....... We love it and rightly so because it’s a great exercise for targeting deep core strength, shoulder stability, it tones the arms and the legs. It’s a great full body exercise for building strength and a stepping stone for more complex exercises. However it’s also an exercise that is done incorrectly a lot. Poor form can lead to unjury, (commonly back or shoulder) especially if it’s repeated again and again over a decent period of time. So how should we plank? Well you can see in the top right picture. The pole gives you a great visual of how you should be able to draw one straight line from the head to the feet... set the wrists directly under the shoulders, draw the shoulders down and stabilise the shoulder girdle draw the abdominals in flat and engage the pelvic floor muscles to strengthen the deep core muscles engage the glutes and the inside thigh muscles. A saggy butt gives your lower back no protection push the floor away with the arms and reach the crown of the head as far away from the heels as possible to give the feeling of length in the body and to create space and de-compression of the vertebrae don’t forget to breathe! Tip: If you are not sure of your planking form take a photo of yourself and criticise your own form. Happy planking everyone

02.01.2022 Mumma bears, I know how hard it is working on yourself and being a mum, partner, chef, cleaner, personal secretary, seamstress, plus more at the same time... Maybe you’ve got huge goals...... Maybe you’ve been putting your own goals on hold for years and years and you’ve forgotten what they even were? Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Even if it feels like you are going 2 steps forward, 1 step back... Never ever give up in yourself because your family need you healthy and strong. They need that happy, confident mumma that shows that putting yourself first isn’t a bad thing. I believe in you (Pic of me having had about 4 hours sleep in the last 4 days, pushing on right there with you ready do do my workout xxx)
