25.01.2022 Oh what a Wundaful piece of equipment you are. The humble chair. Some days you see her with handles, and most days without. Our chair has a split pedal to challenge you just that little bit more. Which arm takes over? Which leg is pushing first? Nothing can hide when you’re getting up close and personal with the chair. Multiple spring and hook points to adjust resistance as needed, and extra places to add in arm springs, the chair is a one stop shop when it comes to a workou...t. Plus, it’s a pretty comfy place to take a load off. Every client in the studio has the chair programmed into their workouts, because it doesn’t only challenge the body, but the mind as well.

24.01.2022 We went to Flock to the Carrington for lunch today. Really loving the vibe in there now, and the outside is a great space for the kids to play. It doesn’t even seem haunted anymore Nest at the Carrington is also super cute and has some great gifts. Bungendore really does have something for everyone.... See more

If you want to lengthen the body, and strengthen muscles and your mind give Barre a go. 10.01.2022 I love to see your hard work in the studio, that's where the magic starts to happen. I also LOVE to hear how how you're feeling after. Wether it's that the Barre class you did the night before got you in all the right sports, or that the Pilates sessions are making all the difference in your body and you can move through the day with ease now. The most important thing is that you feel great, and continue to feel great - everything else is an added bonus - like those sore

10.01.2022 Have you ever walked into the studio and wondered what the hell you were looking at? Did you find equipment intimidating the first time? You’re not alone! Nearly everyone who walks into a Pilates studio has the same thoughts the first time. Over the next few weeks we’re going to introduce you to some of the equipment we like to play with in the studio, so you can be a little better acquainted, and maybe not so intimidated! This week is the humble REFORMER. The Pilates reform...er is probably the most well know and recognized (after the Mat) piece of equipment in the studio. The reformer at Pilates Reformed has an adjustable footbar, which is utilized for exercises such as footwork, and your long stretch series. The 6 springs on our reformer have 3 different tensions which can change how an exercise is executed and feels in your body. Depending on where you’re at tension can be increased and decreased. Every exercise will use a range of springs, and don’t be afraid to play with them! The straps on the reformer are used in nearly every exercise. Wether you’re on your back, kneeling or laying on the box, the straps will be your best friend, or your nemesis While the Reformer looks like it bed, it’s far from relaxing and you definitely won’t fall asleep. The carriage is long enough to support your whole torso in a laying down position, and supportive enough for you to execute a range of exercises sitting, kneeling and standing. TLDR - The Reformer is the bomb! And if you want to see how it can change your training and body book a session today.

10.01.2022 We’re back for another week. Have you been wondering exactly what Pilates Reformed has on offer? Well, wonder no more! Keep reading to find out more about our classes, and then click through to visit our website to find your best fit. Privates - private Pilates classes are PERFECT for anyone who has specific goals to smash, because I love a good goal and love to help you smash them (and then some). Privates are also good if you’re just coming back to movement after a hiatus, ...or if you’re recovering from an injury. Private can run 30,45 or 55 minutes - it’s up to you what you want to do. Circuit - Pilates Circuit classes use all the equipment in the studio and is a group class of no more then 4 people. You’ll love through exercises on each piece of apparatus to give you a full body workout and stretch each and every session. A perfect place to come with friends, or book into a group and meet some new locals. Barre - this is your cardio hit, think a mix of Ballet, Pilates and Cardio on speed. Want cool tunes? Claire’s got them for you, want to sweat? Oh, you’ll definitely do that! Barre is a fun class, designed for everybody and every exercise has a million variations so there’s something accessible for everyone. Pilates Matwork - the original and the best, and dare I say that hardest! Matwork is really fun, and if you’re up for a challenge and to see what your body can really do, meet us on the Mat. You’ll be surprised and in awe of your body in no time. If you’re after more info, visit our website or send us a message and we’ll get back to you. See you in the studio this week.

07.01.2022 In the studio we make heaps of cool shapes. Pilates is all shape based, and you’ll find similar shapes across exercises on the mat and on the equipment. The shapes help you find connection, and length and enable you to gain strength and even find muscles you may never have felt before. During every class you’ll find these shapes, you might think you’re on an episode of Play School, but you’re really just playing with what your body can do!

06.01.2022 Hope you all had a good weekend, we managed to get a rare weekend all together and it was lovely. Looking forward to seeing you all back in the studio this week. Don’t forget to book your spot at the Barre, on the Mats and in circuits ASAP so you don’t miss out!

03.01.2022 Want to change up your training, try something new or add something extra (and spicy) in? Give Barre a go. Some parts of the class are done at the Barre, adding in support, resistance and stability components. Other parts are done down on the floor where your body will be challenged in a whole set of new ways. Our Barre classes are one of a kind, and with 5 a week on the timetable you’ll be able to find a time to suit you. You can book online, or send us a DM to book in.

02.01.2022 What we love the most is all the different ways we move in the studio.

01.01.2022 Every now and then you’ll come across an exercise that makes your muscles sing. Sometimes it’s because it’s new to your body, sometimes it because it’s a different movement pattern, and sometimes it’s just because... If you want to try something different, give us a go.

01.01.2022 The mercury might have plummeted this week, but it’s heating up in the studio. June is all about the full body challenge. Every sequence this month will challenge the whole body and mind body connection. This week will be hard AF, but by the end of month you’ll be all ‘you got this girl!’ If you’re keen to change up your routine and challenge your body in different ways, give barre a go. Ask any of the regulars, it’s not easy, but it’s worth it.... See more
