20.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. So lovely to see you all. Christ is risen!

20.01.2022 The theme of our service on Sunday 31 August was the story of Moses and the burning bush from the book of Exodus. We have made a burning bush with answers to our Trivia questions which is now displayed on the wall downstairs.

19.01.2022 Dear Friends of Queensland Congregational Fellowship Churches, We have associated churches and mission in Myanmar under the leadership of Rev. Elvis Sa Do. Myanmar is experiencing an upsurge in cases of Covid 19 and simple things like masks can help to stop the spread of this virus. Disposable masks can be obtained very cheaply and handed around to the parishioners of their churches and the children of the Grace Mission. If you feel that you can help even in a very small way... with a donation to be collected over the next two weeks please contact Meredith ([email protected] . I can give you details so that you can deposit a donation into a church bank account or give you details of where it can be dropped off. After this collection we will send the donation on to Elvis in Myanmar to help protect the church and mission people from the virus. Thanking you Meredith Goodall Pilgrim Church, Bardon See more

18.01.2022 Today started with the final farewell to Pastor Rob Speirs. A few friends gathered at the interment of his ashes. Afterwards we dedicated a new seat in our back yard to the memory of Rob and had morning tea.

14.01.2022 Eleanor Durrance very graciously allowed Pilgrim Church to use her professional zoom room to conduct church services during the Covid 19 lock down. Here is her thanks for the thank you gift that Pilgrim has given. Thanks to everyone at Pilgrim Church for this beautiful book. It really was such a pleasure to help out on Zoom.... The book is called Moustachat which means 'Whiskercat'. It is the story of a cat who wakes up one day to discover that his whiskers have disappeared. With the help of a bird and donkey, he finds them again, but not without adventures on the way. Moustache is the French word for whiskers and chat for cat. As you can see, I am looking forward to reading the story to my own Moustachat, Gomez. Thanks for such a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

14.01.2022 Yesterday Pilgrim Church had a visiting preacher. Rev. Canon Richard Tutin, QCT General Secretary. His reflection about ecumenism was thought provoking about viewing this concept at different levels. The message covered Martin Luther wrestling with sin and confession and the acceptance of the gift of grace. We had a buffet lunch after the service and some fellowship time with members and friends. Some members of QCF followed lunch with a visit to the Blackstone United Welsh Church to join them in their St David's Day service.
