22.01.2022 On friday the 18th May a bloke rang Chris, they had a chat and this bloke (who chooses not to be mentioned) said he was gonna send down a truck load of hay. Chris & this bloke talked on & off, Then he sent us a picture of this truck on Tuesday and said it's on it's way to you! On Wednesday morning it arrived and what a morning!! To this bloke we can't thank you enough for this. And the truck driver & his company thankyou as well ! ... Here's hoping this drought ends soon!!!

12.01.2022 PRIME CATTLE REPORT 13/02/20 Yarding: 1508... Another week of stormy weather kept numbers back with a relatively small yarding. It was a pretty good quality yarding with a good selection of young cattle to suit the feeders and processors along with some well finished grown steers grain assisted. There was also a good selection of cows. Most of the regular buyers were in attendance and operating in a solid market. Young cattle to the trade were 13c to 15c dearer with prime steer yearlings selling to 356c while the prime heifer yearlings sold from 316c to 354c/kg. Feeder steers were up to 30c dearer while the feeder heifers were up to 35c/kg dearer. The feeder steers sold from 332c to 399c while the feeder heifers sold from 290c to 369c/kg. Young cattle to the restockers were considerably dearer with the young steers selling from 400c to 590c while the young heifers sold from 292c to 425c/kg. Prime grown steers were 25c dearer selling from 316c to 346c while the few grown heifers sold from 290c to 352c/kg. Cows were 18c to 30c dearer with the 2 scores selling from 220c to 284c while the better 3 and 4 scores sold from 261c to 310c with the prime heavy weights averaging 298c/kg. Restocker cows were only slightly dearer selling from 192c to 260c/kg. Bulls to the processors sold to 332c while the live exporters paid to 285c/kg.

The only drought rel...ief that John Barilaro and his Government offers are $20,000 loans that take months for farmers to access. For this cattle farm at Yeoval, $20,000 would only provide fodder for a couple of weeks. Don’t forget, these loans still have to be repaid - whether or not the farmer still has livestock. Why should farmers be abandoned by the National Party? 06.01.2022 How can farmers be expected to survive this drought without the assistance they need? Right now the National Party is offering Government loans of $20,000 to fa...rmers. For the Haycock family in Yeoval, that would only last them two weeks. Worse still - if they lose their stock or don't have them years later, they still have to repay the loan, plus the interest. The Nationals are failing farmers right across New South Wales. Instead, they're supporting the city Liberal Party’s billion dollar plans to build new Sydney stadiums, and shift a museum from one side of Sydney to the other. It's just not good enough!
