25.01.2022 Great to have Robbie and Belinda and the crew from Dandenong City Soccer Club Under 8's fill the hostel over the weekend - the first full house. The boys blazed their way through the Australian Football Skool Cup to take home the champions title. Well done boys and a pleasure to host you all.

15.01.2022 Picking season has kicked off in the Shepparton region in the last couple of weeks. If you're a backpacker heading this way (or working out which way to head fo...r work), there will be work right through until late April. All you need is a hat, sunscreen, plenty of cold drinks and be prepared to get in and have a go - it's hard work but the more you pick, the more you take home. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay while you are here, the Pine Lodge Hostel is the place to stay.

14.01.2022 With the 2019/2020 picking season finished up, there are a number of solar farm projects in the area kicking off with ACEnergy (there is one just down the road later in the year). If you have a job and are looking for somewhere to stay, the hostel will be open so please contact me for more details.

12.01.2022 The next (and main) round of fruit picking in the Shepparton area kicks off next week so if you are sitting around wondering where you might head next week for work, head to Shepp. Call Madec (labour harvest office) to find what work is available on (03) 5829 3600. There is accomodation available at the Hostel, in either 2 or 3 person rooms or 2 dorms.
