15.01.2022 Hi there! reaching out from Sydney. We are makers of all things in the entertainment industry which has just gone tits up. Ive been getting into sheetmetalwork and chassis engineering building myself a hot rod 50s Ute over the last 6 yrs, while getting sidetracked by kids and a business. We are currently building an E36 track car, a 50s Dodge pickup and a CB750 cafe racer. We are a fully equipped workshop able to build cams spec roll cages, general fabrication, sheet metalwork, suspension upgrades and half assed paint jobs!! 10.01.2022 Pink Cactus worked in collaboration with the MCA Art Play team to come up with a fun play space to compliment the new Cornelia Parker exhibition. Cornelia Parker likes to explode garden sheds and hang them up like a chandelier. She squashes and suspends fine silver cutlery and dining wear. She also uses textiles in her artworks. She often has an underlying theme of destruction and resurrection. Taking vibes from old school cartoons, you can make shapes in foil, squish them w...ith the squishing machines and hang them on the chandeliers. A giant TV shaped embroidery screen with an exploding dynamite image invites people to collaborate and pass the needle back and forth to create a playful tapestry. The Mug Life activation is to try encourage people to bring their favourite mug from the office to get their takeaway coffee instead of using a disposable cup. People who bring their own mug get VIP service at all Westfield coffee outlets. Designed and fabricated by Pink Cactus.

Back to base alarm, security cameras, 24hr access, plenty of power including 3 phase, paint sink with taps within the private space, mad amenities including rad coffee machine with coffee beans and milk etc provided. Sometimes we even provide biscuits cause we are nice like that. It's a really cool share space with other active artists but we won't get in your way. Zo...ne 1 industrial building in the old skool heart of Rockdale, which means you can make as much stink, noise, dust, mess and chaos as you like and there are zero fucks given by any neighbours. Ridiculously (walking distance) close to Rockdale Bunnings, Repco, Rockdale Scrap Metal, Rockdale Salvos, Spotlight, Dulux Paints, its basically prop maker heaven. We have a spray booth too, that can be used by arrangement however the whole space has fully sick suction fans that crank out any fumes you happen to be using, if you choose to turn them on. Also you can just fit it out how you want. Add shelving and whatnot, paint it pink and yellow polka dots, we don't care! It's also ridiculously close to Brighton Le Sands beach if you're inclined to want the occasional paddle in the bay on your lunch break. Sound good? You'd be correct, it bloody well is. 05.01.2022 Pink Cactus awesome team of legends helped build this beast over 5 weeks for Brookvale Union. An amazingly fun build, it is a fully functioning trailer bar with beer taps, velvet curtains, loads of paint work and steampunk features.
