As you can see it looks normal, the second picture shows a Thermal image of the same wall, the dark line in the corner is high moisture not visible to the eye. 23.01.2022 On Saturday our Pink Termite and Pest Experts AFP Rugby Union Veterans team had a day of rugby at Duntroon, ACT. The team took part in the Fools Day Festival p...laying three games over the course of the day. Rugby was the winner. The day was organised by our good friends the ACT Vets and attended by teams around the region. One of the teams, the Southern Rough Riders featured former NSW Fire Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons. 21.01.2022 Mark from our ACT branch attended a property at Carrick, during the Thermal Termite inspection he located several Termite nests to the property. As you can see from the attached pictures, our customer had utilised hardwood sleepers as an entry into their granny flat. Timber in contact soil releases Carbon Dioxide which Termites track in the soil to locate food. This is a good example of why its crucial to ensure if you store timber on your property, regardless if its rural or not, it must be kept elevated and out of contact with the soil. Mark has also located Termites within trees in close proximity to the main house.

14.01.2022 The ACT Veterans Rugby Club played our annual charity match against the Australian Federal Police team on Friday, 28 February at Kapyong Oval, Royal Military Co...llege Duntroon. The Commissioners Cup match was a hard fought contest with the AFP side, including some of our very own members who also represent the AFP, raising the bar and taking the challenge to our Vets team. With a 9-all draw all but certain, rugby was once again the winner on the day and the great sportsmanship and comradery between the two sides continued to reflect the spirit of veterans rugby. 13.01.2022 Thermal Termite Inspection to a rural property in Ballalarba outside of Braidwood today, it revealed a Termite Colony active in the base of a tree. This tree was located nearby the house and showed no evidence externally, a further inspection revealed active Termites present below the property. The termites had gained access through tree roots. 05.01.2022 Just a reminder, if you're using Rodent Bait in around your homes, it is important to ensure it's secured correctly. Rodent Bait is highly toxic to non target species. We at Pink strongly recommend you contact a professional to minimise the risk of secondary contamination. 01.01.2022 Termite subnest located in a building in Stromlo, we installed a Pink Termite Baiting system to this property around 4 months ago. The system has gone through colony elimination and met cure protocol. Mark Sharman our senior technician attended the property today and exposed the Termite subnest and removed it prior to repairs commencing on the property.
