09.01.2022 Update for opening Pinnacle.... Hi everyone, hope you are all well and coping through the lockdowns. Well, it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel for the opening of parks that has been announced by the Qld Government. If all goes well, they have set a date of June 12 for people within 250kms of the destination. This will allow people to come from Cairns and Tablelands areas for camping and powered sites. By July 10, if all going well, we will be back open for all ...travellers either intrastate and also interstate provided the state governments allow it. This will mean our friends from all other states will be able to travel north at this time. We'll keep our fingers crossed that all goes to plan. For anyone wanting to enquire or book in anticipation for these months please email us as I have not opened up the online booking system as yet just in case we get shut down again. Thanks for all your kind messages these past months, stay tuned for further updates as the weeks progress and most importantly - stay well! See more

08.01.2022 Welcome to another season at Pinnacle Village! It's been a long wet season but the rivers are well flushed and the fishing has been fantastic as you can see here with these beautiful Golden Grunter and huge fingermark caught in the Daintree this week! Well done Eric!

08.01.2022 Excellent weather these past weeks has seen a lot of activity on the water with good catches of Spanish Macs and reef fish. This Golden Trevally was caught by Geoff today off the beach!

05.01.2022 Dear Friends, Guests and Colleagues; Due to the restrictions imposed on Social Distancing, International, Interstate/Domestic Travel bans and the outbreak of Covid 19 Virus across the state, Pinnacle Village will remain closed for Easter Holidays and until further notice. We are not sure at this stage about the tourist season and will update this page as information becomes available however as you're all aware this will largely depend on the government advice and actions in the coming months. We are still monitoring emails and phones if anyone requires more info and if you need to cancel or change bookings please contact us. Wishing you and your families a safe and healthy Easter Darryl and Kerri

05.01.2022 Final Easter Update: Still raining up here everyone. We've had some showers this morning so still wet. Weather looks to be heavy rain again on Sunday afternoon so for anyone still thinking of coming and has accommodation booked you may check out Sunday morning if you have to. For those still thinking of camping, the grounds are closed but you can get onto the powered sites at the back although it is not really good conditions for camping. Anyone still wishing to cancel out of accommodation just let us know. Refund will be issued to those of you that have paid deposits. Have a good weekend whatever you get up to and we'll catch up with you when the weather breaks!

04.01.2022 Update - As the Queensland Government has released travel restrictions for the state as of June 1st, Pinnacle Village will now be open to Queensland travellers from this weekend June 5th for camping and powered sites. We also have villas available. At this time, we are not taking online bookings or deposits in case of a shutdown again so for bookings please email us at [email protected] or call us on 07 40987566. It's been a long wait for everybody, and the date for our interstate travellers is currently July 10, but let's see if they open earlier. We're sorry to say the weather is perfect up here and we know everyone's itching to get away from the cold, so hang in there! We'll keep updates coming as things progress. Stay safe and Best Wishes to you all...

01.01.2022 To all our valued guests and friends, wishing you a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful day with family and loved ones..... Kerri, Darryl and Myles
