20.01.2022 G'Day All, 1. The new work should be starting on around 18 Oct 16 as Brad will have returned from O/S (Lucky him). 2. I have just submitted the 2nd Grant for about $24,700. It has been recommended already but not approved as yet (later this year or early next). If approved then new carpets,fridges, freezer, curtains and a whole lot more of stuff a total revamp inside.... 3. Hope it goes through the Federal Member (Tony Pasin) is supporting us in the second venture so I hope it gets up. 4. Last point the mixed Bingo/Trivia night is still on Wednesday 26 Oct 16 at 1900hrs. The Air con should have been completed by then (cross fingers). That's it for now. Take Care, Langas
19.01.2022 Great News, the RSL just got a $25,000 grant approved from DVA. A whole lot of upgrades happening soon in the RSL like Kitchen, Bar, carpet, curtains and the like.

13.01.2022 The RSL was Proud and Honoured to support the E-Grade this year. Equally looking forward to 2017 "Bring it on Roo Girls". The RSL was Proud and Honoured to support the Senior Colts this year. Equally looking forward to 2017 "Bring it on Roo Boys".
08.01.2022 Yeah!!!! Good news the grant that I requested for the RSL of $10,500.00 has been approved and is now in the bank. Brad Zerk will conduct the work. No longer will we freeze and or sweat in the RSL. The reverse cycle air-cons x 2, new wiring and lights are about to be undertaken. The second grant of $20,000.00 for re-carpeting, new curtains, new stove, 2 x see through pub type fridges, dishwasher, 3-4 cupboards and new lino in the bar and kitchen area. Then the RSL will leave ...the 1970's behind and look like up to date facility. Work undertaken recently was 100% check of all the plumbing and toilets with problems now fixed. Watch this space with regards to Remembrance Day activities on 11 Nov 16.
03.01.2022 G'Day All, the local Federal Member (Tony Pasin) wishes to meet with as many RSL members as possible on 28 September 16, around 1230hrs for a photo opportunity with regards to the DVA Grant. He will meet with us at the RSL Clubrooms. Request those who can attend pls do so.
02.01.2022 Come and have fun at the only operating RSL in the Mallee, as usual 50cent chook raffles on the night and lucky door prize. Battle Snacks are free again as usual.
