Your latest release Water Run Dry is a collaboration with rapper and singer @24kgoldn , we love the song and we also love the direction & concept behind the music video, please tell us about it. We’re actually both from San Francisco! I’ve been a fan of his music and was excited to get him on the song. We filmed the video together shortly after and it was really fun working with someone from my hometown. When I was younger, I saw Britney Spears’s Toxic" music video; the song was so iconic but the visuals slapped me in the face and made me realize I had to follow a similar path and wanted to create music for the rest of my life. 12.01.2022 Issue 1 WAH-WAH UNPLUGGED ... Is there a story behind the name WAH-WAH? Not a story as such, but a thought process. When brainstorming ideas for the name of the brand I knew I wanted something short and catchy, and ideally something that was a bit of a nod to my love of music. It could be in reference to a WAH-WAH pedal, or the George Harrison song, or that amazing no wave song WAWA by Lizzie Mercier Descloux. ... My favourite WAH-WAH related fashion/music moment would have to be waking up to an email from Dinosaur Jr’s manager telling me that J Mascis wanted me to make a Dinosaur Jr jumper.
